Doing a great job of proving my point which is why democrats are alienating millions of men and women in law enforcement and their families. Not a great strategy for winning over that constituency.

 

If they don't obey, they probably need shot, of course. One black guy can take out 5 cops bare handed (regardless of the cops race), black men are a big threat. Just look at the NBA and NFL? What more proof do you need?[/sarcasm]

Officials in Wisconsin announced that Jacob Blake, the man shot by police in Kenosha, admitted to being in possession of a knife.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigation provided further details about the Sunday shooting in a Wednesday news release and identified the officer allegedly involved in the shooting as Rusten Sheskey, a seven-year veteran of the police force.

“During the investigation following the initial incident, Mr. Blake admitted that he had a knife in his possession. DCI agents recovered a knife from the driver’s side floorboard of Mr. Blake’s vehicle. A search of the vehicle located no additional weapons,” the Wisconsin Department of Justice said.

So police respond to a domestic where a man possessing a knife is reported to be combative.

“Law enforcement deployed a taser to attempt to stop Mr. Blake, however the Taser was not successful in stopping Mr. Blake. Mr. Blake walked around his vehicle, opened the driver’s side door, and leaned forward. While holding onto Mr. Blake’s shirt, Officer Rusten Sheskey fired his service weapon 7 times. Officer Sheskey fired the weapon into Mr. Blake’s back,” officials said.

 

Yeah, the same people they demonize and want to defund and replace with social workers. Go figure.

 

No telling. It seems to be an internal food fight. How is it that the problems occur in historically Democrat police forces in Democrat cities in Democrat states?

According to Wisconsin Circuit Court Access online records, a Jacob S. Blake, same age and with an address in the same block where the shooting occurred, had a warrant issued for him on July 7 on pending accusations of misdemeanor criminal trespass to a dwelling with domestic abuse as a modifier; felony third-degree sexual assault with domestic abuse as a modifier; and misdemeanor disorderly conduct with domestic abuse as a modifier. A support action was dismissed, and the only other case that comes up is for not having a driver’s license.

A 2015 story in Racine Eye described how “Racine police say K9 Dozer had to help officers take a man into custody when the man refused to go quietly into custody after he pulled a gun at a local bar.” The man was described as Jacob Blake, 24, of Racine, which makes him the same age as the man shot by police on August 23. The Racine Eye story said he was charged with “one felony count of resisting arrest causing a soft tissue injury to a police officer and one misdemeanor count each of carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, endangering safety-use of a dangerous weapon, and disorderly conduct.” Those charges don’t show up on the circuit court website though.

Let's try some logic. You seem to say the police are systematically racist. That is a pretty big generalization. I will present another generalization that is equally fair given your logic.

Every single shooting in recent years of a black man that promotes rioting has resulted from "resisting arrest". I would say that in balance it would be a fair assumption and precaution that any individual with black skin is going to resist arrest, therefore they should be immediately handcuffed.

Now that may sound absurd, and I agree it is, but it is sound logic compared to yours. You persist in the efforts to paint those with black skin as victims....yes and you have convinced many.

My Fathers generation came back from WWII with an imbedded hatred for the Japanese. Given what they went through, it could be viewed as understandable. It's safe to assume those of Japanese descent felt that hatred and I'm sure they did. Question: Do you hear about Japanese viewing themselves as victims in America? They are among the most prosperous and best educated. Why haven't you been able to promote the idea they are victims?

 

My friend, a Coconino National Forest law officer was in the exact same position as this officer. The felon produced a can of bear mace, fired it under his arm hitting and partially blinding my buddy. He returned fire killing the suspect. It was found hidden in the trash on the floor of the vehicle was a loaded weapon. This officer could very well have been incapacitated then killed. An officer never knows what he might be faced with. I'll always give them the benefit of doubt.

 

We need national police standards in this country?!! It's scary to have a high school educated Barney Fife with minimal training, lack of courage, ethics and common sense, with the power of life or death over you?!!

 

Sure glad this is not applicable in our situation. We have highly trained and educated officers in a position of high risk, facing a bunch of high school dropouts with pants on the ground and absolutely no respect of the citizenry!

Actually "EVERYONE" controls that when dealing with law enforcement! I have never been treated badly by police, I treat them with common courtesy and they return the same.. Then again I've never taken off running or start searching under my seat or glove box all pissed off either

Trayvon Martin was not stopped by a policeman therefore there was no need for him to cooperate. Trayvon was accosted by a low IQ wannabe neinborhood watch clown.

 

Which is why I did not include him in my examples. Not everyone has a monolithic opinion. George Zimmerman should have been convicted.

 

What was Zimmerman’s IQ? I don’t remember that number being reported in the media.
