SPD: Rioters tried to trap officers inside burning precinct using rebar and concrete

SEATTLE — Seattle police officers were forced to kick their way out of an East Precinct exit door Monday night, after rioters jammed it with boards and rebar, and attempted to seal the door closed with quick-dry cement.

As the door was being jammed, surveillance video shows several other people building a fire outside the building near the exit door, in an attempt to set the building on fire.

"I think what this shows you is that these people are intent on killing police officers," said Mike Solan, president of the Seattle Police Guild, who called the act '"clear domestic terrorism.'"

That is attempted murder, arson with the intend to kill someone is a capital crime. This is domestic terrorism and these groups should be treated just as we would an Al Qaeda terrorist cell. The FBI and DHS should be fully involved in bringing all of these and their co-conspirators to justice and into prison for a LONG time.

 

Yeah but other than the actions of a few individuals this was a mostly peaceful protest.

I have never been as incensed at the left as I am now. They appear to be encouraging the active targeting of innocent motorists, citizens and business owners. I want no part of people who will defend rabid lunatics attacking ordinary citizens. I hold them at least as responsible as the jackals they are enabling. This will not stand. The government's primary responsibility is to protect the property rights/safety of its citizens. If they fail in that obligation, there can be no complaints when the citizenry takes that responsibility upon themselves. The actions of the liberal establishment is pushing America into the area of vigilante justice.

The failure of so many local/state governments to protect its citizenry is unprecedented in American history. This has literally NEVER happened before. It is beyond shocking and disgusting. What is the point of paying taxes if they don't pay for the protection of your property?
