New ad uses Trump's golf vacations to illustrate his many failed promises

Trump has spent more time on the golf course than any other modern POTUS?!! He was still playing golf at beginning of the corona virus outbreak too?!! At tax payers expense too!

President Donald Trump in 2016 promised that, unlike former President Barack Obama, he would be too busy working as president to go golfing.

In reality, Trump has gone golfing far more often during his first term than Obama did over the same period of time, and a new ad from the progressive Meidas Touch super PAC uses Trump's golf addiction to show how he's failed to keep multiple promises made during the 2016 campaign.

"Trump's promise? Keep America safe," the ad states. "Trump's course? The most coronavirus deaths in the world."

The ad then shows how Trump promised to grow the economy, while the American economy right now is "the worst since the Great Depression."

The ad's coup de grace comes when it contrasted Trump's promise of "no vacations" with the reality that he's enjoyed "more than a year of golf paid for by American taxpayers."

In four months, Trump will have a lot of time for golf?!!

 

Trump told his voters he would be too busy to play golf.
Trump lied to his own voters.

 

Let's not forget obama played golf alot when he should have been working.

 

So you're saying Trump is just like Obama - except Trump has spent even more days golfing and spent more money doing it.

 

Trump is like obama but much more accomplished as a president.

 

No he is LESS accomplished than Obama who inherited an economy at it's lowest point since the great depression with over 11% unemployment and eight years later turned over a thriving economy with 4.7% unemployment. At the height of his employment Dirty Donald had managed to get that down to 3.4%, for a gain of only 1.3% during 3 plus years. Manufacturing HAS NOT come back as Trump claims and especially steel has not as the guy from Minnesota claimed during the convention speeches. The much ballyhooed Taiwanese manufacturing plant to be built in Wisconsin touted by the GOP Governor and Dirty Donald, wound up hiring only 500 workers not the 13,500 promised. His replacement for NAFTA has done nothing to improve trade with Canada or Mexico. And his tariffs on imported Chinese goods have been paid by AMERICAN CONSUMERS and importers NOT THE CHINESE as he claims.

 

It’s how he makes crucial decisions , depending where the ball lands

$140,000,000 spent on golfing and counting! It's okay though because he doesn't take a paycheck. Why take a paycheck when you can funnel taxpayer dollars to your golf resorts?

Trump spends half his time golfing and tweeting incoherent conspiracy theories, yet people want to blame democrats for the shape this country is in.

 

Clinton used to base alot off of where his balls landed also.

 

And Trump is better?

Obama paid for his golf dreams out of pocket. Trump calls his golf trips "working vacations", labeling them as official business, and having the American taxpayers pay for them.

 

And somehow that is worse than banging a porn star while you current wife was pregnant

 

Trump charges the Secret Service to stay at his resorts and rents the golf carts to the Secret Service to milk the taxpayers even more

Trump is profiting off of his golfing.....

 

If Trump was golfing at public resorts, I wouldn't be as mad because it would save taxpayers some money. But in typical Trump fashion, he wants to profit from being president.
