Considering the Democrats pushed the whole Rusian collusion hox for 3 years made up by them. Then impeached the president on a lie. Now they are pushing for mail-in voting.

Would it be a far fetched idea that the reason they are pushing for it, is so that they can steal the election?

Democrats as a rule have no souls. They would do or say anything to get an advantage over you.

The USPS has already said they can't guarantee they could deliver the required ballots.

And the USPS union just came out in support of Biden.

    You be the judge.

Democrats were the prime pushers of expanded absentee voting, early voting, motor voter, same day registration, no ID required voting, and now universal mail-in balloting because they assumed a better Democrat turn out -- or at least more Democrat votes -- all under the guise of combating vote suppression which was an issue they made up as a foil.

Voter suppression exists in my state.
When Black churches organized a campaign called "souls to the polls" Where people would go to church, be bused to vote during early voting and return to church for a potluck meal the Republican legislature decided to do away with Sunday early voting. Only public pressure forced them to reinstate it.
When a referendum was passed by over 60% of the voters that felons (except sex offenders and murderers) who had completed their sentence could register to vote the Republican Legislature changed the law to read that they must also pay for public defenders and court costs. When they lost in court they appealed the decision and said that registration was on hold until the appeal was completed. When they were told that
they could not do that by the court they also appealed that decision and said that felons could not register until that appeal was completed. Felons will vote here, but not in this election.

You are throwing ant hills on the mountain. None of your examples show any nefarious voter suppression. If you are interested in large scale voter suppression go back to the 60s when the Democrats fought tooth and nail against LBJ's Voting Right act,

It is the PRESENT USPS BOARD and Postmaster General who are gutting the USPS, and they are all 100% Dirty Donald appointees.

What has the Chinese virus got to do with anything. The left has lectured us on the effectiveness of wearing a mask.

Really. Than give me a good reason for the changes. It was widely assumed here by people on both sides of the issue that these were related to controlling the vote.

Assuring that voting is done properly and according to the rules is not voter suppression.

Even the most paranoid people I'm friends with who are super freaked out about the virus still leave the house a few tkme a week to run errands.

    Weird eh?

I agree, also voter fraud exists in your state as well. But you seem to like voter fraud because it benefits your party. Heil Biden

Firing hundreds of postal workers and placing policies on the postal service in order to ensure that the ballots arrive late or can't be counted properly is voter suppression

The postmaster general who is a trump loyalist for months has been laying off postal workers, putting policies in place to prohibit new workers from being hired or current workers from working overtime, as well as getting rid of sorting machines so that it takes longer to sort through mail, as well as getting rid of vehicles so that it takes much longer to deliver mail, and others such policies. these policies were put in place simultaneously with Trump administration attacks on the postal service claiming that it is inefficient in unable to properly handle mailing voting.

Trump is intentionally undermining the US postal service so that mailing voting fails and votes are not counted.

Changing the procedure making it more difficult to vote or taking action after a referendum and several court rulings in order to keep people from voting most certainly is voter suppression.
How does doing away with early voting on Sunday, the day many church going Blacks traditionally vote assure voting is done properly?
How does denying the right to register to vote for felons after people passed a referendum by over 60% and court rulings have said it must be done assure proper voting?
Black Christians and former felons don't control the voting process.

Nothing the USPS has done in 2020 has anything to do with mail-in balloting which is a very limited process, albeit slightly larger now in a few states. You are blaming Trump and the USPS for not kowtowing to Pelosi's demands to wide open mail-in voting. She wanted $25 billion for the USPS, that would not have accomplished one physical thing, as a foil to get her wishes for a lot of votes that Democrats thought they could harvest. Trump rightly and properly said no.

The mail-in voting might steal the election, but I don't think it's the Democrats who will do it, but the deep state might do it assuming they don't get swamped by the sheer load of millions of millions of ballots being mailed in.

Hardly curious. They view it as in their best interests.

One would think that, at a time when people are being asked to stay socially distant, mail in voting should be widely accepted and utilized. It only makes sense. Only in this divided America does one think it is an attempt to 'steal' an election. And only in this divided America - the one that so many say is the 'greatest nation in the world' - could the postal service be in a shambles at a time when it is needed the most.

While some (mostly on the right) were saying that this virus wouldn't last long, others were warning that it could last for the rest of the year. A great nation would be proactive - it would see the potential issue of 'in person voting' and make efforts to beef up the postal service to ensure it could handle the increase of activity. But we know that isn't what happened. And its pathetic.
