Wouldn't it be just grand to see the movement continue with a Pence Trump ticket in 2024?

And for those who question the eligibility issue, I am speaking of a Mike Pence / Ivanka Trump ticket to be exact.

After all, Ivanka gave a better speech during the RNC Convention than either Joe or Kamala could have delivered.

And it would make perfect sense. Ivanka already knows the White House inside and out, and could focus on certain responsibilities that the VP position entails during the next four years. Perhaps even serve some time as an agency executive.

    Time will tell...........

We knew from the start that the only reason she has her advisory role is to groom her for her own run for the WH. Therefore, I would not be surprised.

However, I WOULD be surprised if the Trump name still had any voter pull to it in 2024.

Who's Trump's successor in 2028? 2032? And what's Kamalalalalala gonna do in political retirement until then? It's not like All Hands on Deck Biden is gonna win this thing!

Why not? Both the Bush and Clinton names had voter pull. Name recognition has little to do with performance.

    No.

Just like Obama, Bush, Kennedy and Clinton that name needs to be thrown upon the trash heap of history.

I used to think she was better than her father. Then the whole SoHo thing happened and, nope, she just as much of a thief as her father is. I have yet to see any redeemable member of the Trump crime family. Maybe Barron will turn out okay?

Nobody complained when the Molester-In-Chief's wife ran for office, despite her proven corruption.

And, you know, everyone except her most diehard supporters. Republicans railed against her, in case you forgot.

I do believe we get the leadership we deserve. We have been celebrity obsessed for a very long time, and it was bound to happen that a celebrity would eventually occupy the WH. And if, somehow, enough Americans think that Ivanka gives a whit about anyone other than herself, we may see it happen. I hope not, but it wouldn't shock me. What would shock me is that anyone could see Pence as POTUS!

Actually, before Trump, we already had a celebrity occupying the WH: Ronald Reagan. At the time, I still lived in Germany and remember the bewilderment of people there that an actor of second rate wild west movies could become president. Only in America. It has to be said, though, that Reagan, with all his faults, was heads and shoulders above Trump and his clan.

Yes, but Reagan was better known for being a governor than an actor.

Well, every time Trump's corruption comes up, Trump supporters tell us that the only possible evidence is him or his compatriots being found guilty in a court of law . . . and even when they are found guilty we are told that isn't good enough.

My answer is the preponderance of evidence, but I'm sure that will remain controversial among Trump supporters.

I understand. There always two versions of the truth in politics.
