It isn’t that there’s no other thread. The trump supporters bury the threads by not responding to them so they fall off the page.

Trump’s inaction has cost thousands if not tens of thousands of lives. His excuse about not wanting to cause panic is just that - an excuse. Other countries were transparent about the risks and imposed stricter lockdowns - without any panic, anywhere in the world.

 

That it's now accurate to compare the Trump and Chinese governments should show how damning, how inhumane Trump actually was during the early days of the crisis. But you wanna know who's really going to be upset? The families of these nearly 200k individuals who've tragically passed. Pretty large amount of people to lie to.

 

His actions were much better than anything the Pol Pol Left would have done. And Trump, of WW 2 would have said, "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself". Biden would then have called Trump a liar and said, "500 million Americans will get their heads blown off a day during this... the thing! You Know!"

 

Exactly.

 

Hell, had he been transparent from the start the debate on our freedoms would've been greatly minimized as we would've trusted the government with said freedoms. Instead everyone understandably acted with the information they knew at the time.

It's time to turn the page on Trump.

 

Trump inherited his money from his very rich father while apparently cheating his own relatives out of their fair share of family assets. I would argue that just about anyone born with a silver spoon in their mouth is able to be "successful" in such circumstances.

It doesn't seem like it takes much for people to follow someone they perceive as successful (regardless of if that was attained by their own hand or at the expense of others or by family lineage). Noone can say for sure what percentage of that popularity didn't come from (1) the above, and (2) his promise to clean the swamp, if elected. It seemed easier to bet on an outsider (to politics) in the hope he could and would keep his promises.

This is sad testimony to a mindset that blames people for telling the truth. You don't fault Trump for lying to the American people or taking no responsibility for how that lead to the rampant spread of the virus and its resulting deaths; you blame the guy that told us the truth and was smart enough to get the proof needed so he wasn't dismissed as a liar.

Trump said that he wouldn't lose voters if he went out and shot somebody. He was right except he didn't have to shoot and his victim wasn't just one person. He did nothing with vital information at a crucial point where he could have truly LEAD this country through the crisis. Instead, he directly caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people and he STILL has apologists unwilling to accept that he was wrong. Unconscionable.

I am not speaking for anyone but myself but I don't see this as a "gotcha" moment at all. I would give just about anything to be wrong on this point. I believe anybody with an ounce of compassion and empathy cannot possibly dismiss the outrageous number of deaths (still counting) that could have been prevented by a leader more interested in leading in something other than an election. There was even a delay on the stimulus checks because he had to have his signature on them and a letter mailed out to recipients. How is that NOT self-centered?

President Trump lied directly to the American people which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands. He is the President of the United States and those deaths are on his hands.

Nobody here or Biden is the POTUS. Nobody else was/is in the position to lead this country through this pandemic except Donald Trump so there is no point in deflecting on what could have happened under anyone else's leadership.

 

Amazingly humanity has actually learnt the art of letting people know when to leave a crowded room without shouting fire

 

India is rapidly catching up because it has hit poor rural areas. Japan did well because the mask up as soon as someone sneezes even oncec

What is the matter is the Left using the virus and deaths for political gain.

Meanwhile they had welded their population inside their own apartment buildings and arrested anyone who tried to go outside.

Well when you add drowning victims and motorcycle accident victims and people who have been dead SIX MONTHS to the Covid death tally... its not hard to do.

Bet those countries don't do that. We do.

Compare our rate to a country who reports EVERYTHING as Covid, like we do (J/K, there isn't any country that does that other than us) and then we can talk.

 

Trump will win in Nov. Democrats will lose their minds. Antifa and BLM will go full domestic terror.

My fear is that Trump will win in a landslide but that boxes of mailed in votes from China will appear on Hillary's coffee table, and be used to over turn the election.
People really need to think about what a Biden win will look like.
1) Loons on our court systems that hallucinate their political preferences into law;
2) Our troops spending ever increasing amounts blood and treasure in other people's wars;
3) Higher tax rates pushing more campaign $ into Democratic party hands to purchase loop holes for the very rich;
4) Ever more authoritarianism confiscating guns and outlawing free speech;
5) More jobs and lives lost to China so that Biden's unemployable son can get billions in graft money in return for the bad trade deals Biden would push;
6) Whacky climate hoax agreements that do nothing to actually help the environment but harm the USA
7) Open borders that will make the US economy look ever more like Venezuela.

Those not slaughtered and left to rot in American killing fields may find themselves digging through garbage looking for something to eat in the economy team Biden would impose on us. It won't happen over night. But that is the general direction they want to take us in.

We are being told that unless Biden wins, expect violence. Bad situation for the US to be in all around.
