I'm so sick of seeing all white people having to 'walk on eggshells' about the n-word and all these other myriad numbers of things that "Black People" are hypersensitive about. White people get called everything the imagination can conjure up and nobody gets all bug-eyed and butt-hurt over it. I'm mostly going back to just calling "Black People" what they are -- negroes! Even Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. always used the word, "Negro", so, that should be good enough for all the rest of us... right? The best thing is simply to use lower-case spellings and refer only to "whites", "negroes", and "orientals" -- the three main human races. After doing that, there should be far fewer instances of people going fugging berserk over it....

I say no one should use the word, it would be racist to say only certain races can use the word everyone can use it or no one... equally... I prefer no one use it

Maybe we should do like a lot of American negroes do and simply use the word, "Nickuh". Seriously! I've heard them use that word for many years.... "A rose by any other name...." Or, to use a more modern meme -- "It IS what it IS".
It's either a bad word or it's not. It isn't a word that has innocent uses. So anybody using it, no matter who they are, is being an asshat. And when they try to tell you it's okay for whatever idiotic reason they make up, they are also being a hypocrite.
Hmm.. I think the left just like censorship. Controlling the language because words are "evil", that sort of thing. Of course it used to just be bound by civility, that folks in civil society wouldn't utter such, and that was that. Now, every rap impresario must use it, and worse, because the art form demands the most shocking, ridiculous etc. The word you're struggling to find is equality. And words don't enjoy equality, but people do. Words aren't "Evil", but evil can be done with words. Of that, there is no doubt.

"Equality" is what the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 were all about... but no American negro 'rap artist' ever sings any song about the "Equality" that has been a constitutionally-mandated REALITY for over 55 years.... I have never personally found the need to use the word, and cannot think of a context where it may be necessary, except perhaps when quoting someone else. I do, however, defend the right of anyone else to use it as they see fit, as long as they accept any consequences that may arise. There is no racial component to my opinion. It applies equally to everyone.
Well, the only problem is that if you refer to "Asians", you are referring to people who actually are in Asia. I have thought about something like "American East-Asians". Using "oriental" is simpler, and more in keeping with the other descriptors.
I loathe the word, but it has a lot to do with how my father threw the word around. I don't understand the hypocrisy. If some people can use it, and others cannot, it's just limiting freedom of speech. I'm not going to use it, though. I like my teeth. Why poke a potential bully? The vocabulary police are taking the N word to new heights. There's all sorts of things we are no longer "allowed," to say. I'm so over it.

Yeah, but at least I don't barge in on innocent people in restaurants, making a totally obnoxious ass out of myself, and crap on their lives!
