Amazing how Trump was able to avoid panic across 98% of the nation.....we really only saw a total lost of control in NYC...Andy "the Grandma killer" and Billy Deblow it, really can't handle the pressure

 

Um, public health affects the economy. On this date, he was aware that this disease was highly communicable and much more deadly than the flu. He kept lying to the public about that. It isn't about "panic." It's about being straight with people, which Trump is incapable of doing, as his entire history shows. He has also stoked panic about the election. Repeatedly. Just like he stoked fake panic about killer convoys and Obama being born in Kenya. He loves panic. He just doesn't like panic that he worries might make him look bad.

I was in Manhattan at the end of April. No panic.

As for “Trump was able to keep the rest of America going as normal”....that’s obviously and ridiculously false on its face.

Trump’s neglect, incompetence and inaction have made us number one in the world in covid cases and deaths.

Meanwhile, the “panic” in New York resulted in lowest infection and death rates in the US by far.

Indeed, New York is the only state in the US where those numbers are on par with first world countries.

Right now, Trump has made Brazil look good by comparison.

 

We did, we just hadn't detected any yet, as health experts had warned. He lied about how deadly this disease was. Period. Why lie about how deadly the disease was? Why not just say, "It's deadlier than the flu, but we have no cases here yet," etc.? Why not just tell the truth, as alien as that concept is to Trump?

No one is suggesting a panic. Why keep making that up?

He didn't just ask for his BC. He said his BC was fake, stoking insane panic among people gullible enough to fall for it, to the point that they actually convinced themselves that their president was a sleeper agent from Kenya.

3) Trump had warned about the virus....he even did so in the SOTU address
4) we were active attempting to help contain the virus in China.
5) Trump found out how it spread about the same time we did...when the WHO finally admitted the Chinese lie a few weeks prior to the interview

 

Trump has faced many crises (most of his own making) in his life.

His standard response is to do nothing and generate a lot of noise and confusion to cover that he has no plan and no idea what to do.

After that, he jumps in front of the outcome and tries to take credit for it, no matter what it is.
