US Election 2020:Trump will win as pollsters ignore REAL Americans AGAIN

This seems obvious to a lot of us and reminds me of the famous quote " it's dejavu all over again. " This election is feeling more and more like the movie Groundhog Day.

Please describe your idea of "REAL Americans."

The far right likes to use that phrase to describe themselves and those who share their extreme views, accusing the rest of us of not being real Americans. It's insulting and arrogant.

News flash: you are in the minority. I repeat, the minority. Most Americans are center-left. Trump supporters, QAnon, white nationalists, and others within the bubble of Trumpism (not conservatism) make up, at most, about 35% of Americans.

 

Not my term but a real American is a citizen who contributes to our country with work and innovation. The rioters burning are not "real Americans" and won't elect our next president .

 

Trump was elected by only 39% of registered voters. So calling yourself a "real" American is pretty much just chest thumping.

The final polls taken in the last week before the 2016 election showed Hillary with a slight lead among likely voters - she did get about 2% more
votes than Trump, so the polls were fairly accurate (the polls were not measuring Electors).

Polls are just a snapshot in time that only reflect the mood of voters on the day they are taken. That mood can change, so the only real polls
that will be close are going to be taken in the last few days before the election. I sure wouldn't bet on the outcome of this election.

 

Duh. Millions of Americans don't vote and really don't care. But the Constitution still gives them every right and privilege as American Citizens.

 

Every day in every way this election feels more like the last.

 

Indeed the constitution protects the rights of all Americans not just "real Americans" . Even those that hate America and wish to see it destroyed have the right to vote.

 

I'll disagree. There was a strong Anti-Hillary component in 2016. Both she and Trump were toxic candidates and the Bernie people were very angry at Hillary and stayed at home.

This time, Biden is not loved by the Bernie people, but I don't think they dislike him, and I think they will come out and vote for him.

I think the Anti-Trump vote will be much stronger this time.

I'm not going to make predictions, it's too close to call - but I do think it will be a different dynamic this time around.

Do you hate your kid if you tell him you think he can do better?
One can criticize certain actions by your country, and still love that country.
A person can criticize the President's attitude and still love your country.
A citizen can want a different approach to problems, and still love their country.

Marching lock-step with a President is not "loving" your country - it's being part of a cult of personality.

 

Time will tell and neither of us have a crystal ball. Personally though it's as I stated in the OP, it feels like the movie Groundhog Day. Everything with polls and the media and democrats already measuring the curtains seems very familiar. Trump voters are super enthusiastic while Biden voters are anything but which is also like going back in time four years.

 

It's a direct replay of 2016 from polling companies effectively working for the political interests of the DNC to media outlets essentially carrying the Dem Party candidate on their shoulders. Hell . . . Hillary and Biden even are similar in that neither of them put on an effective campaign effort and both were/are very obviously ill; Hillary with some sort of debilitating physical ailment and Biden with dementia. It's The Twilight Zone on steroids.

 

That's not who I'm talking about. I'm referring to those that hate America and want to destroy it as a world power and think our constitution is an outdated relic irrelevant in todays world. I'm speaking of anti capitalism Marxist that desire to turn America into Venezuela. The constitution they despise gives them the right to vote.

And no, there are not tens of thousands of Antifa dudes running around.

 

How do you know whether or not any specific protester has a job? I'll not try to distinguish for you the difference between the opportunists and the actual, peaceful protesters, but it does stand to reason that when you see a crowd of BLM or related marchers/protesters, most of them are probably working people, protesting on their days off if they haven't been layed off because of the virus, or joining marches in the evenings after working all day. The looters and burners and smashers are a tiny percentage.

You're indulging in judgment of people you don't know. I stand by my assessment that doing so is both insulting and arrogant.

Just as in immigrants and illegal immigrants you see no difference between protesters and rioters.

 

Which is why so many of us support Trump. He has actively stood up to the ruling elites, the establishment that was taking us over a cliff.

 

I like to keep reminding people. This is not an election of Trump versus No Trump. It is an election of Trump versus Biden and no matter how much the democrats protest, Biden has a mental problem.

Dude. Having different plans than you do to reach goals does not mean a person wants to "destroy" their country.
It's just a different set of priorities.

 

Trump has signed off on every increase in the National Debt placed in front of him.
Trump IS one of the ruling elites.

 

Trump and Biden both have mental problems - it's just a matter of which one will be less destructive in the long run.
We'll see how the voters decide to go.

Abolishing our constitution?
Replacing capitalism with socialism?

New and better trade deals. A secured border. Tax cuts. Defeating ISIS. Peace deal in Mideast. Booming economy. Main thing though is Trump does whats good for America not whats good for the ruling class and they hate him for that.

 

Please show me one Democrat candidate who want to abolish the Constitution. Give accurate quotes proving this.
Is there more than two or three Democrats in the House who want to Nationalize oil companies? List them with actual quotes stating that.
Are we talking completely defunding the police or using some current police funding to develop other programs that the police don't need to be handling?
