    Im sure it is.

The problem I have with the OP argument is the focus on human carbon, when things like pesticides, heavy metals pollution, synthetic hormones, chemical pH imbalaces and EM proliferation are far more reversible destroyers of the ecosystem.

Climate change has been extincting species since there has been species.

Im starting to think 'carbon emissions' may be nothing but a red herring to distract well-intentioned environmentalists from the things that we can actually fix so industry can continue dumping real pollutants while the opposition is off on a 'wild carbon chase'.

Actually, no one has yet answered the question as to what temperature the Earth is supposed to be.

Nice attempt to bury something you have no answer for.

Reports of the monarchs' demise are greatly exaggerated.
". . . It is important to remember that when referring to the “Western Monarch population”, most biologists are in fact referring specifically to the migratory/overwintering portion of the western monarch population. They are talking only of the monarchs that gather and overwinter together at a large number of known sites along a very long and rugged coast. The worry is for the Western Monarch Migration, and not really the western monarchs as an entire population. How many monarchs are simply traveling to Mexico (one of their alternatives) or moving into Southern California and continuing to feed and breed for the winter is unknown — there is almost no body of science on the topic. . . . I don't mind being wrong for news like that, it's not every day you get good news.

I planted Milkweed around my property and often have
several monarchs around my home while my neighbors don't.
Sometimes I spot their caterpillars on the milkweed.

Would you be ok with scientist putting as many chemicals into the atmosphere as the many people do

I think if we saw a scientist doign this, we would see the risk, but because so many do it and each does so little, they do not see it

I keep meaning to get one of those big packages of seeds of plants that attract butterflies.
