You lived in what, one country in Africa? And so you think you understand the entire vast continent and all of its people and their culture?

Is the country you lived in even a member of the panel referenced at the link? https://www.afro.who.int/news/exper...ocol-covid-19-herbal-medicine-clinical-trials

Score one for you. But now, have you actually made an effort to understand what is actually going on? Have you figured out yet that the WHO is not, in fact, promoting traditional medicine?

But it's your personal opinion and biases that overrides reality in the thread-topic. You can hardly blame readers for trying to understand (or question) the psychology of how you think :)

It's funny how the left suddenly have amnesia and problems grasping the concept of Traditional African medicine when it suits them

I've posted several links to info but here's some more... please don't call it herbal medicine I find it disrespectful to the victims

The CONSPIRACY SOURCE that you are nefariously using as a disingenuous attempt to DEFAME the WHO has the following "RELATED STORIES" right under the one YOU are quoting.

    OJ Simpson is INNOCENT?

    Serial Killers?

    Alien abductions?

    UFO Sightings?

    Strange creature sightings?

Thanks for TRASHING your OWN credibility once and for all when it comes to anything at all related to Africa.

    Have a nice day!

Herbal medicines trialed under the auspices of WHO are not the same thing as illicit concoctions cooked up by street quacks.

There is no rational reason to believe that they are.

Hence "herbal" is only an insult to victims for those who believe, irrationally, that "herbal" means the same thing to WHO as it does to street quacks.

If you're enraged by the horrors of certain traditional medicines, that's one thing - who wouldn't be? But their existence does not mean that truly herbal medicines do not exist.

Accepting their existence doesn’t hamper your ability to (quite rightly) address horrors elsewhere. You can do both.

Furthermore, if you cared to exercise your imagination in the other direction, you might envisage WHO as an ally in your cause, because of its efforts to promote the development of safe, genuinely effective and truly herbal traditional medicines.

Except it is not herbal medicine... African Traditional Medicine IS NOT Naturopathy or Homeopathy.... and if you bothered to read what I posted you will NOW know that human and animal blood & body parts are frequently added to Muti, according to ancestral spiritual consultation by the Sangoma (Witch doctor) which btw are funded by the South African Government in a similar fashion Medical Doctors are funded in the west.

    And that is the point, the WHO won't acknowledge Hydroxychloroquine a scientifically proven treatment for Covid 19 because Trump.... but they will endorse Traditional African Medicine that are;
    a) falsely sold to everyone as herbal
    b) consist of human and animal body parts, often acquired in the cruelest possible manner because when a victim screams the body part are considered more potent.

Not only hypocrisy but also a human rights violation consideration

You called it correctly, but incorrectly included the word "fallen":

Scarletwitch ".....WHO won't acknowledge Hydroxychloroquine a scientifically proven treatment for Covid 19 because Trump.... "

This thread is purely for attacking WHO and defending Trump based on a conspiracy theory that belongs on the garbage

The thread is purely for pointing out a) the hypocrisy of the left (who false portray themselves as pro science) in defending the WHO ENDORSING African Traditional medicine, a practice with b) gross human rights violations AND animal cruelty practices

And yet.......and yet.....one of the oldest medications are the opiates famously made from.... yep opium from the opium poppy. Then there is Digoxin (Digitalis) first used by William Withering back in the 1780s and still used today

And don't forget aspirin. How dare the WHO encourage the research into the use of these herbal medicines used by these savages!
