Walking into either chambers of the Congress or Senate must be like entering the La Tetilla del Diablo bar in the Quentin Tarantino film "From Dusk Till Dawn" as it clearly filled with vampires, parasites and ghouls.

Can the contrast between the two ways the announcement of a replacement justice was handled be more stark?

And that nomination never got a vote.

Excuse me?moscow Mitch refused to even consider Garland’s appointment, supposedly because it was an election year and “the voters should decide”

And now we have Trump and Moscow Mitch trying to ram this one through a month out

What Biden should do if Democrats win the Senate is immediately call for a vote on Merrick Garland. He was nominated as the law instructs, and all that is pending is the vote.

And then nominate a replacement of his own for RBG.

And THEN Congress can start thinking about the number of justices SCOTUS should have.

If none of that works, Trump has left plenty of precedent about how to abuse power. Which is not abuse anymore because there is precedent. There are many things Biden can do to benefit the country (not himself, like Trump did) with all that power.

Republicans controlled the Senate then and now. The Democrats controlled the House and impeached Trump without cause except for uncontrolled hatred.
