Right to peacably assemble is very important. I have nothing against the protesters, but there is a core of very radical revolutionaries who promote and carry out violence to achieve political ends. Those people should be crushed, the rest should be left to assemble.

Oh I agree. Where did that 250,000 COVID-19 infected number from Sturgis come from? Who tracked those people so efficiently and how did they do it without violating HIPAA laws?

Intelligence Agencies Illegally Spying On Protesters

Whether or not it is illegal, it depends on which agency you mean. Several intelligence agencies operate within the U.S.

Yes, they are watching us and it is illegal but no one is stopping them.

Which is ironic because whenever a terrorist or criminal attack takes place we always hear about how they were known by police but no one took action to stop them before tragedy struck.

At a guess a lot more. It was only the other day that some program was talking about how we tend to be given a very romatic view of how people of the UK were in the second world war - all gritting their teeth and putting up with everything with halo's on their heads when this apparently was far from the truth. There was plenty of dissent including criminal actions on that.

The difference I see is that '48 was the beginning of democracy being worked on and I am guessing that was much the same in the US. People were well aware that those in charge were not to be trusted and they wanted their democracy so they did not intend on putting up with those in charge acting badly. In the States you apparently had 50 people in charge of the news, now you have 5. The UK pretty similar so I would say yes, in 48 we spoke up when things were wrong, we worked to make sure we got the Democracy we had worked so hard for and up until the late 70's we worked to get rights for all the people and a rise in the standard of living for all. This has all been undone since the early 80's, the rights our parents and granparents fought for have been taken back and we are in much the same position we were prior to democracy even if we do have a better standard of lliving than they did - though that is slowly going. In the UK we now have people dying because of lack of money to buy food - The people who in the past we would have expected to support stopping such, now encourage it.

The government cannot stop drugs, though it spends huge amounts on it. The government cannot stop forest fires, it cannot stop a virus, it cannot stop poverty and it cannot govern by its own constitution.

They spy on us all the time, but many think that is OK. We do have the government we deserve I guess.

When you contact the virus you will be asked questions and be told to quarantine. The info without the name will be put out that is not against hipaa.

So what should authorities do about the seven percent?
A crowd of 100,000 would have 7,000 criminals - the first
job of govt is always security.
I am sure if these protesters protested about the 400 prison
camps for Muslims in China, or the dictatorship in Venezuela,
or Russia refusal to come clean about poisons and downed
airliners etc the govt would STILL monitor these people. As
it is - there's no chance they would protest about anything like
    this.

Are you talking about taking over land from the government and people because they are lost in months or years of blackouts and can't communicate?

Please tell me that's not what you're saying.

But, is that what private militias have been preparing for since forever?

We are held together by thin fragile spider webs. Dependent upon machines subject to our sun behaving. Like never before in our history.

What happens when we literally go dark? Satellites fried, modern communication destroyed, electrical grid fried?

Intel will lose its gonads and ability to spy on citizens . And the nutty militias.

Civ. will implode with billions dead. Might take a century to get it back. We are not hardening our grid or getting prepared for the inevitable.
