LOL! AOC is a radical socialist, IOW a Marxist. She favors Big Government, but like most communists she is hostile to Big Bad Business.
So, unlike ordinary establishment Democrat and Republican pols AOC has the potential to evolve.

Thus far, yes. You cant get folks to act in unison. Just try getting 5 friends to meet for lunch at the same time.

The war of partisan politics is destroying the country

Not even a little. What it is destroying is the government. Let's get rid of much of federal government and reduce the effect.

Your statement contradicts important points made in the Youtube reference, as if you didn't listen to it.

Let’s start with a bipartisan committee of voters to get rid of the worst demagogue in the country.
    We all know it’s trump.

Your position is typical of people who prefer to be oblivious to the bullet we dodged by not electing Hillary. So you continue to strive for the likelihood of your future enslavement.

No they didn't. Not unless you have a very strange idea of poverty. The per capita GDP if China is on par with that of Argentina and less than that of Brazil. Oh and even if true that still leaves them another 800 million plus to go. So basically their economy has progressed to the point the British empire was at in 1750 but with far worse pollution.

Another thing to consider, the Democratic party talk if packing the Court, and it frame up of various members of the Trump Campaign is little more than a blatant attempt to secure permanent political power. Any person of good will should resist that at all costs. Such slavery would destroy this country. I can easily escape slavery to a man but how do I escape the clutches of a runaway bureaucracy hell bent on ruling or ruining everyone's life?

We did Obama was term limited out. Sadly the voters didn't see fit to get rid of the mist divisive President in American history. It is not Trump that is divisive it is the Democrat party and unbridled lust for power.

The enemy of my enemy is not all bad.

“Amazon is a billion-dollar company,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted late Monday night. “The idea that it will receive hundreds of millions of dollars in tax breaks at a time when our subway is crumbling and our communities need MORE investment, not less, is extremely concerning to residents here.”

The system is rigged by way of our duopoly.

They trade places by way of the illusion of elections, but they both advance the same agenda, and constitutional governance IS NOT the agenda. Special interests control both parties.

Tax breaks for Amazon have helped Bezos run small businesses into the ground.

So now amazon is the boogeyman instead of Walmart? No what ran small business into the ground is us the consumer, we all wanted cheap products from slave labor countries and they delivered at the cost of good paying American jobs.

It is bribery, but Big Business has to pay off Big Government to survive.

“One survey of corporate executives conducted by the Committee for Economic Development found that half gave to political candidates because they fear adverse consequences for themselves or their industry if they turn down requests.” EXTORTION, "How Politicians Extract Your money, Buy Votes, And Line Their Own Pockets, Peter Schweizer, HMO, NY, NY, 2013, p. 4.

Jim Jordan had to admit that he had received $2K from Google insisting that he was nevertheless hostile to Google. What a mess.

Amazon and Walmart destroyed small businesses with tax breaks and other aid and comfort from government.
How long did Amazon operate without charging a sales tax?

Let's take a look at the rise of the polarization in politics.

IN my view, the seeds of polarization began when Reagan repealed the fairness doctrine, which paved the way for AM hate Radio, which spewed out one sided right wing agenda, this gave rise to Rush Limbaugh, and then Newt Ginrich killed the cordial bipartisan atmospheres established by Tip O'neal and his predecessors, and now it's win by any justifiable means and to hell with the opposition, noting that despite Obama's naive efforts to work with republicans, they blocked every judicial appointment, and legislative offerings forcing Reid to nuke the filibuster for circuit court appointments. Note that Reid could have nuked the filibuster for SCOTUS appointments, but dems believe that appointments of SCOTUS are so important that it should remain a bipartisan effort. But, then came Garland, and McConnell, after taking the senate, nuked the filibuster for SCOTUS, and got Gorsuch, later Kavanaugh. Now, we pretty much have only ONE party making SCOTUS appointments, and, in my view, these should be nulled by a new retroactive law making them illegal. If one side appoints Scotus, they will pick an extremist ever time, to further the right wing agenda. Time and time again, republicans have demonstrated their unwillingness to compromise

To fix this we need to:
    1. Reverse the repeal of earmarks. (as ugly as earmarks are, it recognizes the practical reality on how compromise is achieved, via horse trading as every senator tries to do stuff for his or her district, and earmarks are needed to get legislation passed ).
    2. Restore the filibuster for circuit court and SCOTUS appointments. This will encourage the selection of moderates on the court. Extremism, either side, is not healthy for America, in my view.
    3. Null all appointments that didn't meet #2, above. Reappoint those slots.
    4. Restore the filibuster where a Senator must take the floor and talk as long as it takes to run out the clock, i.e, make filibustering has hard is it used to be, which will discourage the practice and reserve it for only passionate causes.
    5. Restore the fairness doctrine or something similar to it.

In my view, a SCOTUS judge terms should be limited to 10 years.

In short, reverse all policies that contributed and enabled polarization. There may be more, the above is a cursory glance at what I have observed, over the years.

If it's one nobody else gets or if it's a reduction to almost zero when there is a known amount it's pretty much the same.
