    I can't be convinced of much regarding Trump because his critics have never accepted him as president and have never treated him with the least bit of respect.

    No one is obligated to "earn" respect. it should be given freely to people in positions of authority in recognition of their responsibility.

    Saying "respect has to be earned" is just another way of saying "I'm a complete bastard who has no respect for myself so I won't show it to others".

    Respect should be given freely among people. That's how you earn it. By offering it. Those who don't honor this have not earned respect, and no one but an authoritarian would suggest respecting someone based on his power at all, much less power alone.

    The first requirement for being a respectable person is being a respectful person; Trump fails already. There are other requirements for respectability; Trump fails at those as well. The truth is, no one is obligated to respect Trump. The office is what people respect, and many think Trump has desecrated it.

    No, it's normal behavior for someone with values, such as respect. Reelection isn't a value, no matter how deeply and sincerely Trump think the nation literally depends on him.

    Donald Trump is completely UNWORTHY of any of the sort of the "respect" traditionally accorded to the POTUS.

    Donald Trump is the most transparent "politician" we have ever had.

    He's done exactly what he said he would do if elected.

    You want to talk about tax returns?

    Maybe you could explain to us how people like Pelosi and Biden became millionaires on $144k a year.

    Donald Trump, on the other hand, will probably be the first politician to ever leave office with less money than when he entered.

    Because Rachel Maddow and the left of the Democrat thinktanks will be able to find tax cheating that the IRS under Obama missed while they were trying to frame him colluding with Putin.

    Meanwhile you watch millions of dollars flowing from communist China, RUSSIA, and other countries flowing into the Biden family, and you just shrug your little shoulders.

    Just like Trump the typical Trumper doesn't care about facts. Trump and his staff literally coined a phrase which means making up their own facts, alternative facts. Regardless of whether something is true or not if it supports Trump, trumpers will agree with it even if it's against their own well-being. They will disagree with anything that is bad for Trump, regardless of Truth or if it's in their best interest.

    No a fact is something that is verifiably true. An opinion is something based on a person's personal bias and viewpoints.

    For example it's a fact that the sky. This isn't an opinion nothing you say or do is going to change it.

    Donald Trump will turn around and say well the sky is red because I have an alternative fact that says it is. But the sky isn't red and all trumps alternative fact doesn't change that it just makes Trump look like a retard and it makes trumpers look like retards too
