It's a politically charged question that has no relevance to her qualifications. The only reason someone would ask such a question is to use her as a political prop. She is smart enough to recognize this and not let the democrats use her as a prop.

 

She can't answer questions on issues that might come before the Court. Its pretty simple. But the left doesn't get it. They never do. But from the questions from the left it does show what the left is looking and what they expect from a Justice. They don't want any judge that will rule governed by the constitution. They want judges that will rule on their policies no matter what the constitution states. Thats why they don't like her.

I would expect that she know the five freedoms guaranteed by the constitution. She failed that. If she doesn't have the first Amendment at her command she has no business being on any court.

On that note, she said that she believe in the well being of a child starting at conception throughout their lives. Let's say all abortions stop and the babies the mothers are unable to care for all end up for adoption to a loving family as we so often hear as the alternative. There are nearly a half million children in orphanages in the US with a quarter of them considered good candidates for adoption. If the current levels can't be adopted who do you suppose is going to adopt the new arrivals?
Anti-abortion people are not pro life. If they were there'd be no kids praying to be adopted. They are just pro birth.
