many are leaving because of climate change, 1000's of dems should move to swing states where their votes would make a difference

I believe the Californians moving to red /swing states are going to make a difference in future elections. People don't automatically change their political views just because they move to a new place.

never said they did, but Hillary got millions more vote than Trump, so if even 100k of those moved to swing states, it would change the outcome of elections

I'm one of those people who left California and landed in Virginia. Now I find myself in a stuck situation do to age and a sweetheart 10 year rental deal. Drawback is I see more and more clueless socialist types moving into the neighborhood. Were turning blue so I have to work twice as hard washing the back of my neck to keep it red.

What's happened is high levels of foreign immigration displaced large segments of the former population in high-population blue states (mainly New York and California). These people have then moved in huge numbers to outlying former red areas and begun to turn them blue.

What a lot of people in red states do not realize is the population in terms of the sheer numbers in city areas of California and New York is incredibly high. If even 10% of them leave, it could completely overwhelm surrounding red areas.
There have become a huge number of people crammed into a small area, and they are just waiting to spill out.
