    Lol...The proof is simple.
You know that if there was a grain of truth in anything that came out, trump would be on it like a fly on Pence.
He would have spent his town hall grousing about it like some strutting popinjay.
Face it, this was just yet another attempt to fling distracting bullshit against the wall hoping some of it would stick and it went down in flames.

I am no fan of Biden but the decision to put him up against the wannabe Fascist-in-Chief was a stroke of political genius because Biden is the ANTITHESIS candidate. In every aspect he is the OPPOSITE which gives the electorate both a STARK comparison and an easy CHOICE to make. More of the same odious obnoxious drama queen or a return to NORMALITY?

Yes, Biden comes across as the adult in the room vs. the man-child with his name calling and temper tantrum throwing like a four year old spoiled brat. Biden was the right choice at the right time. I call it a return to sanity in government, back to normalcy.

Let me guess, you're an MMTer?

By the way, O'rourke's piece " "How to Drive Fast on Drugs While Getting Your Wing-Wang Squeezed and Not Spill Your Drink" is especially edifying :)

Let me see, does "a return to sanity in government" include endless war, IRS harassment of political enemies and religious groups, bombing a dozen countries, sending billions to terrorist nations, allowing Russia to annex parts of other countries, allowing China to militarize Pacific Islands, bad trade deals that export jobs, open borders, high taxation and nationalization of entire industries like healthcare?

Out of curiosity, does that include corruption and malfeasance such as allowing the Vice President's son make lucrative "business" deals with foreign enemies or corrupt oligarchs?

Oh also, does that include using the Justice department and intelligence community to spy on your political opponents?

This sounds like classic leftist projection accusing others of what they do themselves. Ya might wanna check into that. After the reelection you'll have plenty of time.

Or Trump can strengthen the Court and in the next four years name two if not three hard core conservatives to fight the forces of darkness for the next 40 years. MAGA!

Now that it appears the Orange Menace is toast, the complicit cowards who enabled his destructive presidency are distancing themselves to protect their political fortunes.

GOP Sen. Ben Sasse Trashes Trump In Call With Voters: He ‘Kisses Dictators’ Butts’
The Nebraskan said Trump secretly mocks evangelicals, mistreats women, “sells out our allies” and has “flirted with white supremacists.”
    https://www.huffpost.com/entry/ben-...O8Y8AVnF1sfk_s0owbxRBVi_bOg49oI1c_SX9BlQBfQUw

Trump has always done these things. Only now that his are coattails are frayed does Sasse point out what's been obvious for 4 years.

"Continuing, Sasse said, “The United States now regularly sells out our allies under his leadership, the way he treats women, spends like a drunken sailor. The ways I criticize (former) President (Barack) Obama for that kind of spending; I’ve criticized President Trump for as well. He mocks evangelicals behind closed doors. His family has treated the presidency like a business opportunity. He’s flirted with white supremacists.”

He also slammed the president for refusing to take the COVID-19 pandemic seriously for months, saying his leadership during the health crisis has not been “reasonable or responsible or right.”

God, this just gets dumber. Byrd was a FORMER KKK MEMBER, TURNED CIVIL RIGHTS PROPONENT. Calling Byrd a KKK member is the same as calling Trump a Clinton supporter. Do you understand that?

I can't tell if you guys are just unwilling to do homework or are just deliberately dishonest, same goes with the Trump photo you have there. Do you know that was actually from?

Corruption harms all. That's why Trump has to go 4 years ago! Are you actually saying you don't see Trump's corruption, destruction of the USA, sociopathy, narcissism, ADD, self-serving behavior 99% of the time, lies, total unfitness for the job, thuggery, and despotic efforts?????? LOL!!! Some people aren't fit to vote.

Politics, policy, stances on issues have all been moved to the back seat in an attempt to get rid of a 74 year old man-child who acts like a four year old spoiled brat who's parents forgot to teach him any manners with all his temper tantrums and calling other names that my 4 year old grand kids knows better. It's time to get rid of a 74 year old who uses third grade schoolyard bullying tactics. Time to get a president who knows how to behave as a president should. It's quite simple. Any adult would do.

I'd say Byrd stayed with race based politics. He just changed customers. While Trump has always been about making money. And creating wealthier communities creates more customers. So, black people welcome.

I know. Orange man bad. We like him. He's not a regular politician that makes empty promises. He's working for us and not the big corporations or the establishment.

Joe Biden is a failure. He hasn't accomplished anything in 47 years. Nothing. I bet you can't even name one thing. He's gone mentally.

I think what you'll find out, see is that Trump's obnoxious, uncouth personality along with his very unpresidential behavior will be the main factor in his defeat. Especially among independents which pay little attention to politics, to the daily grind of Washington D.C. workings. Who base their vote on their own perspectives of the candidates, do they like or dislike. One should remember Trump won independents in 2016 by a 46-42 margin over Hillary Clinton with 12% voting third party, against both major party candidates as they disliked both and wanted neither to become their next president.

I think those same 12% this year still don't like Trump nor want him to continue. Biden isn't nearly as disliked by independents as Hillary was. That's his big plus. At least half of that 12% of independent third party voters are now in Biden's column. The best Trump can expect out of the rest is another third party vote.

That's how I see this, Trump's shall I say unique and bullying persona has driven these voters away from him. Not from him, but from third party voting into voting Democratic. Independents are finicky, their reasons at times for voting makes no sense to either party's faithful. But it's always been this way.

WASHINGTON — For nearly four years, congressional Republicans have ducked and dodged an unending cascade of offensive statements and norm-shattering behavior from President Trump, ignoring his caustic and scattershot Twitter feed and penchant for flouting party orthodoxy, and standing quietly by as he abandoned military allies, attacked American institutions and stirred up racist and nativist fears.

But now, facing grim polling numbers and a flood of Democratic money and enthusiasm that has imperiled their majority in the Senate, Republicans on Capitol Hill are beginning to publicly distance themselves from the president. The shift, less than three weeks before the election, indicates that many Republicans have concluded that Mr. Trump is heading for a loss in November. And they are grasping to save themselves and rushing to re-establish their reputations for a coming struggle for their party’s identity.

    Yes.

You can see the problem which Dems face here: Repubs claim Biden did nothing for 47 years....and in fact neoliberalism does neuter the Left (since no-one likes paying higher taxes).

But meanwhile those Repubs who are beginning to doubt Trump's re-election chances are already claiming Biden is a 'socialist' who will cause massive deficits...when the same deficits were not a problem as long as Trump was expected to be re-elected....

And Trump himself today is piling it on, saying Biden will turn the US into Venezuela...though Trump knows full well that's absolute nonsense, whether Biden and neoliberalism - or AOC and MMT - direct money creation. (It's available resources and productive capacity of the nation which determine inflation, not money supply per se).

I just thought of something dealing with independents. In 2016 it was an anti Hillary Clinton election. They disliked Hillary more than they disliked Trump. This year, it is more an anti Trump election among independents as they dislike Trump more than they dislike Biden.
