He's facing politically-motivated charges, and he'll be acquitted.

I see you have never addressed why the protestors were there with weapons and molotovs, but you're sure ready to condemn someone for being somewhere they have as much right as you or I.

It's not that we don't see why you'd avoid that conversation, it's just hilarious watching you dodge the real problem.

That's probably what the violent mob was chanting when they were chasing him. Odd with whom you identify....those mobs who did not belong there and were not the law, but were breaking the law in heaps and bounds, now hot on the heels of the young valiant teen to do him great bodily harm. Such is mob justice.

Other than I never mentioned them in this thread nor have I outright supported them, you have made another shameless false accusation.

I live across the bay from Seattle. When the riots were happening and the CHOP zone was created, I thought about going to observe the activity. Then I thought “Bad idea, why tempt fate”.

Oh absolutely relevant. telling someone you should not "tempt fate" is a poor mindset. Did you tempt fate by wearing short shorts and a sexual assault occurred? No, that's blaming the victim. Instead consider WHY is it tempting fate to protect property and lives? Maybe realize the real problem is the criminals who showed up to destroy the property of others and attempt a murder. Let's worry about those a******* and why it was ok for them to be there.

So with that logic the militia didn't belong there when the Brits attacked america ?

The rioters and looters are the ones who didn't belong

It's the exact same thing. Don't blame the one committing the crime when the victim is so much easier.

I agree why put oneself in harm's way when unnecessary. I agree that the mayors and the governor's need to address this, but vigilantes are not the answer.

Everyone involved made poor decisions. One bad decision doesn’t cancel another bad decision.

What it appears we really need is some signs all over America that advise us what areas are verboten. That way no one gets killed for going there.

We can't have Americans just going wherever they want, you know.

You can go to any public place you wish to go. However there are times where it’s not prudent to visit those places. Like during the period of a violent riot. Sometimes digression is the better part of valor.

One must always consider the likely consequences of their actions.

Gosh... so when you actively support the ANTIFA lawless hoard that attacked Rittenhouse, you're doing what? Not supporting them? Laughable. So, again, why are you supporting the ANTIFA thugs?

Oh, so rioters can legally deprive you of your rights now? Are you not allowed to protect your own property or that of another American?

First off, where did I defend rioters? Second, Rittenhouse was not defending his property. He inserted himself into a violent situation many miles from his property in a neighboring state

Rittenhouse acted stupidly. He made a poor decision and he should face the consequences of that decision. What those consequences should be are debatable.

No, he is not the law and you are not the person who gets to decide if he belongs there or not. Furthermore you don't get to decide that he was looking for trouble unless you have actual evidence to prove it. What you are doing is called lying. My question to you is why do you keep pushing multiple lies?
