    But with the FBI custody of the laptop comes increased pressure from the right on FBI Director Christopher Wray. Wray has recently experienced the ire of the president and his allies after contradicting Trump on white supremacist violence, the nature of antifa, and the primary foreign interference threat to the election coming from Russia. Trump has told associates he plans on pushing Wray out if reelected.

    So will Wray pull a Comey?

    it's not like he doesn't have an example to look at

    Okay - well lets start with Rudy. The WH has been given information from intelligence officials that Rudy has been given unverified information as part of a Russian misintelligence campaign. Even Fox has told their journalists not to rely upon him as a credible source. Then, there's the question of the laptop itself. There is no proof that it belonged to Biden. And the emails themselves - they have not been verified as authentic. Unless and until these issues have been resolved, it isn't the smoking gun/october surprise that Rudy hoped.

    It has been in the news all week that the FBI has warned Trump (& it leaked to the media) that Giuliani is being used by Russia to propagate false facts to demean & deride Biden before the election. Even Giuliani has admitted it might be true. Why would ANY newspaper or news network publish anything Giuliani offered them knowing Russian propagandist might be behind it all--& especially if no direct evidence was available to support it?

    Sure there is. There's the computer repair shop owner, who told a Congressional committee that Hunter Biden dropped off the laptop:

    "But in a letter Saturday to FBI Director Christopher A. Wray, Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson, Wisconsin Republican, disclosed that the shop owner, identified in media reports as John Paul Mac Isaac, told the panel directly that Hunter Biden dropped off the machine."

    He "identified it" by a sticker that was supposedly on it.

    He had no repair ticket and didn't remember who dropped it off
