Ratcliffe says Hunter Biden laptop, emails 'not part of some Russian disinformation campaign'

So Adam Schiff flat out lied.....again. Not a good look for the House Intelligence Committee.

When was this? Or is this another Rudy claim like when he said hunter was drunk even though he wasn’t there and the shop owner is apparently blind

In the end it’s the same old same old. Ratcliffe’s a dishonest individual and he’s once again (with Fox News) being dishonest right in front of our noses. Why?

So we now have the fbi receipt picking the laptop up last December, we have a few of the emails verified from others on the email, we have Biden's partner singing trying to get out of jail and we have the DHS verifying there is no evidence it has anything to do with Russia unlike lying shiff for brains BS spouted this weekend.

The Fairness Doctrine was widely thought to just allow opposing viewpoints equal time on certain broadcasts. Basically meaning that if you have a “news” show, you had to give equal time to both Republicans and Dems. But the real core of the original fairness doctrine was to not allow anyone who called themselves “news” to lie. It’s core tenet was their had to be truth in what they reported, or in what they professed.

Today, we have stations calling themselves news and they are nothing but arms of either the democratic, or republican parties. It’s makes it impossible for most to actually find the truth in what is being said. Shows can now report on what ever they want, and say whatever they want about them, truth be damned. It is really what gave rise to Fox News, MSNBC, etc.

Every American os skeptical of what they see or hear on TV anymore, and for good reason. But to make every American have to do their own research to find what is the truth, is exactly what the political class in this country wants. It says it right in my signature : “A lis that affirms use will gain more credence than a truth that challenges us”

 

If your solution involves empowering some government bureaucrats to decide what "the truth" is and censoring / fining / jailing anyone who disagrees, then no, I definitely would not support that.

No. It empowers the courts to do that. Just like before. If someone files a complaint that they lie, then they go to court to prove it right or wrong. It was always fines.

"The courts" are just a different set of government bureaucrats. I don't generally support government bureaucrats, including judges, being arbiters of what "the truth" is in such messy arenas as political messaging. Would you really want the Trump DoJ (or a Republican-majority SCOTUS) fining CNN for slanting their news coverage? Fining the Biden campaign for his lie about never being involved in Hunter's business deals? That seems like a good idea to you, after four years of President Trump? Really?

 

Time to investigate Schiff to see who is pulling his strings.

 

The original Fairness Doctrine was enforced by the FCC. It was struck down by the FCC in 1987 because they felt is was unfair that print media didn't have to follow the same rules as broadcast media. And there was also one other major rule change by the Trump administration that allowed the FCC Chairman unilateral power to make some very major decisions (re: Net Neutrality), based on how each rule was classified. So the FCC needs to be changed a little, but all-in-all the fairness doctrine can work, as long as its sole authoritative body is not the FCC.

And remember, under a fairness doctrine, all these shows just have to publicly say they are "opinion" shows, and not "news". The problem with todays media is that they all masquerade as "news". All so that they get the implied consent of truth.

 

So this entire Hunter Biden story is basically Hunter got uber rich off of his father Joe Bidens connections right?

So laptops cost what $300-1000 why if this rich guy Hunter had a broken laptop wouldnt he just buy an entirely new laptop?

Maybe he didn't buy a new one because it had important day to day needed things on it but if that's the case how would he forget it for months?

Something is clearly not adding up about this story on the face of it

 

Republicans played Joe Bidens own words on tape that's more evidence of wrong doing than this and it didn't change anyone's mind so why would you think LESS evidence on the same topic repeated again would do anything lol

The evidence keeps piling on and is overwhelming now - Biden lies, Biden gets a share of the loot, more oligarchs, more members of the Chinese Communist Party..

If it were not changing minds, fake news media and totalitarian social media would not need to censor the evidence.
