    Back in early April, Trump proudly compared the United States and several European nation’s Number of Deaths per 100K pop, thus;

    U.S. versus Belgium, Spain, Italy, UK, France, and Netherland.

    Back then, we were doing better than said nations, however, during the period we had a Summer Wave, said nations managed to reduce their daily new cases below 500 cases, whereas in the U.S., our daily cases have remained above 20,000. Results; During our Summer Wave, the U.S. Number of Deaths per 1M pop surpassed Netherland, France, Italy and UK.

    Today, and due to a Fall surge of Covid19, several European nations have seen a drastic increase in their daily new cases, and for said reason, Trump recently revived his “We’re doing better than them”, however, this time, his comparisons are deceptive.

    Thus, in an effort to glorify his handling of Covid19, Trump is now comparing the U.S. and Europe’s percentage of increase in daily new cases, for example;

    First, like said, during the period when the U.S. had its Summer Wave, European nations managed to reduce their daily new cases below 500 cases, whereas in the U.S., our daily new cases have remained above 20,000 cases, thus, obviously;

    a. THEM; A surge from a low 500 cases to 5,500 equates to a 1000% increase.

    b. In the U.S., a surge from 20,000 to 60,000 equates to a 200% increase.

    However, in the minds of the below average intelligent people, “We’re doing better than them”

    Analogy;

    Last Spring, Cindy and Anita weighed 200 pounds, and both enrolled in a weight loss program.

    Over the summer, Anita lost 100 pounds, and Cindy kept her weight at 200 pounds.

    In the Fall, Anita re-gained 50 pounds, thus, increased her weight by 50%, whereas Cindy only gained 10 pounds, thus, increased her weight by 5%.

    Thus, in reference to their weight loss program, who has done better?

    This is what I don't understand. We already know that he is downplaying the virus and its impact on the economy. We already know that he likes to fudge the numbers. So, why is it surprising when he downplays and fudges? It's his MO (modus operandi).

    Trump even criticized Canada’s Fall Surge, and “We’re doing better than them”

    Once again, during the period when the U.S. had its Summer Wave, the Canucks managed to reduce their new daily cases below 500 cases, whereas in the U.S., our new daily cases have remained above 20,000 cases, thus, obviously;

    a. Their surge from a low 300 cases to 2,100 cases equates to a 600% increase

    b. In the U.S., a surge from 20,000 cases to 60,000 cases equates to a 200% increase.

    However, per capita, Canada’s surge to 2,100 new daily cases is still significantly lower than the U.S. 60,000 new daily cases

    You watch......

    Soon after the election, many of Trump’s supporters will deny knowing him three times, and they will call themselves Libetarians/Independents/fiscal conservatives.[/QUOTE]

    We’re rounding the corner, and everyone have grown tired of wearing masks and keeping their distance.

    Back in February, Trump; “I’m a wartime President”, TODAY; “We, The People/combatants are too tired to fight the invisible enemy, thus, wave you white masks in the air, we are surrendering”

    What Trump says in relation to other countries has no effect whatsoever on whether or not I stay home or decide to go out to eat at the COVID Shack.

    Actually, we’re currently doing better than TWO European nations;

    Begium and Spain

    Deaths Per 1M Pop;

    Belgium; 939
    Spain; 749
    U.S.; 697

    Source; Worldometers

    Why the above is a fair comparison?

    Because back in early April, Trump PROUDLY compared the U.S. and SIX European nation’s number of deaths per 100,000 pop, and back then, we were doing better than;

    Belgium
    Italy
    Spain
    UK
    France
    Netherland

    Two days ago, U.S. had 80,246 new daily cases.

    Looks like you’re very good at calculating Per Capita, thus, what is it?

    Yes, said article was released 4 days ago, and two days ago, according to John Hopkins, U.S. had 83,757 new daily cases.

    Thus, what’s 83,757 new Covid19 cases per 1M pop?

    U.S. two days ago 83,757/331 = 253

    EU last Wednesday; 235

    Tell me, will this ridiculous partisan game be played on a daily Basis?

    One day, EU is lower than the U.S., another day, U.S. is higher than EU.

    Very sick!

    You folks should start thinking before posting.

    Here’s another Republican Contradiction;

    One day, Republicans will remind us about Trump’s “2.2 million would have died if we did nothing”

    Next day; Republicans will whine about the lockdowns we had.

    Well, were the lockdowns “A do something”?

    Trick is to find a balance that addresses the economy and the virus.

    Since the beginning of the pandemic, per 1M pop, we can’t possibly be even with EU because they didn’t have a June - September Summer Wave like we did. During said period, European Nations kept lowering their daily cases to near ZERO, whereas in the U.S., our new daily cases remained above 20,000 cases

    Trump has shown that you must assume the opposite of anything he says regarding COVID. Luckily it's pretty obvious to folks who care which will hopefully lead them to vote this disaster out of office.

    That's where balance comes into play. Europe had longer complete shutdowns which lowered covid cases but also crashed their economy. France just said no matter what happens they won't shutdown again because their economy would collapse.
    America has done a good job all in all of balance and our economy has been coming back even with the pandemic. This of course leads to more covid but our hospitals have not been overwhelmed and we are walking the tight ripe pretty well.

    Come over here to a NONE political page.... "SOMEWHAT"

    You get honesty, no FOX news Propaganda... No right wing think tank paid posters.
    I just can't get past how the internet has turned into a propaganda network for the neoconservative think tanks. They run "Author Written Articles" as news, pass onto the Rush Limbaughs, Breitbart, FOX, and others, then post "as news"
    Here in lies the problem with the country midwest and southern education levels. A guy can start a business as a contractor, make thousands without ever being able to spell. Buys a pickup truck and runs around with a Trump flag. Why, because his other pickumup truc buddies do...
    That leads other WHITE GUYS to "JOIN THE CROWD" of white people, and so on, and so on...

    That is his base. You could try having a semi-educated conversation with one, I have... Buy the time you get 2 minutes in they get that blank stare of.... "OMG, I am stupid"

    In his own mind he is saying to himself : "no, wait a minute, he might be lying to me for the vote, or to get me to be LIKE HIM a snowflake, Maybe he wants me to approve of Abortion. Hell NO... I am not listening to this, it is all lies, I know it, if FOX news was putting out Porpaganda, everyone would already know it"

    My Brother and Father are both this guy.....partially educated, glued to FOX for the white man,
