That's quite the spin there. Qanon is not about questioning a story. They are about supporting Donald Trump, somebody who would never benefit from the questioning of stories and his reasoning. Oh Really? Which church was that? And does that mean, as you seem to imply that every member of the religious organization concerned was involved? Because you see, except for this unnamed church of yours, I'm not aware of any one single public organization on the planet where all the members, as opposed to a few individual members have been involved in or actively tried to protect pedophiles.

So if your aware of one and have facts rather than mere prejudices to support your contention. Name the church concerned. Because you see, the things is - the vast majority of the population are not sexually attracted to children. This is FACT, indisputable, scientifically proven fact. Which also means, the law of averages prevailing that the vast majority of members in ALL organizations (churches, companies, gov agencies, sporting clubs etc etc ) will also be people who are not sexually attracted to children.

I'm a lifelong republican, supporter of President Trump and since it's inception, I have warned people about QANON and their silly conspiracy theories. I tried to debate Praying Medic, one of the most prolific Q cultists on Twitter and instead of debating me he blocked me like the coward he is. Just like democrats, when they are unwilling to have someone question them then you know they are liars and phonies.

 

No, whats 'lame' is your complete failure to recognize the manifest difference between organizations and individuals. Example? Goldman Sachs has just agreed to pay a USD 3 billion dollar fine because employees in Malaysia failed to follow anti-money laundering and corruption protocols with regard the 1MDB scheme in that country. So tell me who was responsible for the wronging?

Yes, the bank paid the fine as is tight and proper. But who committed the offenses concerned? Was it ALL the bank's staff members around the globe? Was it ALL the banks shareholders? Was it the entire board and senior management? Or was it the managers and staff who were aware of the offending conduct and either ignored it or were willfully blind to its existence because the profits (and therefore bonuses) generated by the illicit funds were too tempting to ignore?

Notwithstanding the moral obligation the church has to minors in its care being an order of magnitude greater than the duty of care those bankers owed to the company - tell me how the above situation differs from that of the Catholic Church (or indeed all the other religious organizations christian and non-christian) caught up in these scandals?

And to make it clearer for you here is a definition of an organization; 'a group of people who have come together for a shared purpose' .

And here, one of an individual; 'a single human being as distinct from a group'.

Notice the difference. I really can't make it any clearer.

So by all means criticize the church and all other organizations, private & government for their child protection failures - there is after all plenty to criticize. But at least note when you do so where the failure in each case belongs - with key people in positions of authority that should acted and did not. Not with every single solitary person in that organization.
