The Trump-Pence campaigns have stiffed the cities police departments across the country who have provided protection for the campaign rally's and events. They are currently sitting on well over $2 MILLION in unpaid bills for campaign police protection, some of it dating back to the 2016 campaign. The taxpaying citizens of the communities where these rally's occurred are being saddled with higher tax bills to offset the monies the Trump-Pence campaign is cheating their city's out of. At the very least this should be a violation of campaign finance laws.

Most likely the people attending the Trump campaign events are spending enough in the city to pay for the extra police protection.

The cities should sue the campaign if they think they have unpaid bills or a contract was violated.

If they haven't I got to say this is fake news

Trump claims the Secret Service should pay the bills which would of course give the Trump-Pence campaign a distinct campaign advantage over his political opponents. The secret service can only spend what the congress budgets them, which of course is all U.S.taxpayer money.
