Progressives will never be happy, that's true, in Europe they whine and cry racist when a black guy who was throwing rocks at cops gets their face messed up by a rubber bullet. But the point is not to appease the loons, the point is to stop killing people when you can avoid it.

There was no immediate danger. He was walking slowly and at a safe distance. Watch the video, it's not like he was charging at them.

Did you read my post? That's exactly what I'm saying, the same thing would happen if he was white. My point is that killing him is needless violence, there are other ways to handle that situation.

The "guy did have a knife" is not an afterthought! It is the basis as to why he was shot. For those of you who aren't aware, a knife can kill people. One person to many people!

That has nothing to do with what you said. In the US the police follow the "use of force continuum" that only escalates when the perp raises the lethality of their attack. That's a fact I learned while in the police academy 30 years ago.

 

Perhaps we could ship our predators to those countries (at our expense) so they can be safe. Hell I would be willing to throw in an extra $100k per predator if they renounce their citizenship.

 

That's a great principle, one I totally agree with. So why aren't they applying it here? They're not facing a lethal attack, so why are they using lethal force?
