That's a funny way of saying "10th Amendment", but whatever works for you, I guess.

    In addition to above, I have an excellent memory;

Prior to our Summer Wave, several posters compared the U.S. and Canada’s Case Fatality Rate, thus, 2.7% versus Canada’s 8.7%

For anyone’s info, since May/June, Canada reduced its CFR from 8.7% to 4.3%, and they will soon be at par with the U.S.....What then?

Same CFR, however, deaths per 1M pop; U.S. over 700, Canada, under 300.

Psst; Only people who understand Correlations can explain it.

I don't think that the federal government should be in a position that necessitates individuals trust. That wasn't the intention of the federal government nor the level of power authorized to it in the Constitution.

    THAT is the problem.

My Blue State has a Blue Governor I blame more than Trump. I am of the opinion that everybody was going back to normal and planning to go on vacation no matter what he said so he abruptly ordered masks and reopened closed businesses when masks were not even required for Phase 1.

No, it's more like the 25th Amendment is appropriate.

Ah. You don't understand the states, not the federal government, hold most of the powers needed to fight a pandemic.
Well, I can't do anything about this, unless you are willing to learn.

Pretty sure the two states I mentioned have far and away the highest death rates in the country.

That's gonna go over his head, but here's a link if he needs it

    https://www.npr.org/2020/04/14/8340...-have-the-authority-to-order-states-to-reopen

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, a Democrat, told NPR's Morning Edition Tuesday: "The reality is that the president does not have the authority to tell the states what to do in this regard. We put the executive orders in place. We're the ones who are responsible for the safety and health of the people of our states."

Your governor can close down your businesses and schools, restrict social gatherings - sports venues, churches, etc - can order people to wear masks and require people quarantine when traveling from out of state.
    The President can't.,

They are a couple of the lowest in new death rates due to actions they put in place.

OP: perhaps because the Trumpers in that community, at the behest of Maestro, are going out and breathing on everyone including themselves and spreading the virus. Only takes a few...

Why are Blue States with high COVID death rates blaming Trump instead of their own governments?
My guess is that they are upset that Trump never allowed a national control center to be established to coordinate response activities against the Covid. Instead, he left it up to the individual states, who were unable to coordinate with all the 49 other states for a successful response. This was a GLOBAL pandemic. Even working on a national basis is potentially inadequate. Certainly limiting our response to individual states with what they can do alone, is certain to fail. Trump was inept & wrong. We're paying the price for his ineptitude now with the record breaking surges hitting us.

so Now they have the highest unemployment rate in the country in addition to the most deaths.

youll have to excuse me for preferring my state’s response.

yet, from the numbers it appears their responses were far worse then those in other states who had the same “disadvantages”.

Blaming other people for their decisions is one of the defining characteristics of the party.

It's the nature of the left....they always look to blame someone else, or the other for their problems....ie the rich, the middle class, the successful.....

Because they are political hacks, of course.
