Thanks a lot. Lol. I had forgotten that. I love John McCain and he did get my vote, but I had some serious concern after he picked that dingbat.
Not getting your argument. First, you note that Biden was a hawk on Iraq, then use this to question his credentials regarding Iran. If Biden had been soft on Iraq, then maybe you'd have a point, so what is your claim? Simply that the hawks were wrong on Iraq?
Annual flu deaths in the US over the past nine years have been 12,000 to 61,000 averaging about 40,000, your 2019 figure. This is of course much better than COVID but not earth shatteringly better. Though COVID deaths should not be counted as such with most co-morbidity.... flu deaths aren't. That is nice sounding demagogic populace talk without any association with reality. Automobiles could be made that would assure nobody dies in a traffic accident, but they would cost around $2 to $5 million dollars and get 1-3 MPG. Nobody with any vestige of sense would agree that is what we should do just because it saves one life. I wonder if after Biden and Beto get all the so-called assault weapons, they will go get all guns, then all knives, then all poisons, then all hammers, then...... ad nauseam. I wonder if they realize that hammers are assault weapons.....
Trump has been violating the Emoluments Clause of the constitution from day one. I guess you missed it. Here you go: https://www.businessinsider.com/us-taxpayers-970000-trump-properties-wapo-2020-5 https://www.propublica.org/article/political-and-taxpayer-spending-at-trump-properties-16-1-million And he's still trying to rob us: https://news.yahoo.com/trump-administration-attempted-direct-250-220754281.html From the COVID relief money, ffs! Show me a link to Biden matching even a fraction of that amount of blatant corruption. And don't try to go with the ridiculous, debunked nonsense involving Hunter Biden.
But he was a hawk. You can't criticize him for being soft on Iran using evidence of him being a hawk on Iraq. Makes no sense. If you want to criticize his judgement based on the Iraq vote, then I'd agree, but it has nothing to do with any possible conflict with Iran.
WTF? You'll have to point me to my post about Iran. You are stereotyping people who are voting for Trump as all having criticized Biden for being soft on Iran.
Post #150. If I misunderstood, please explain. I'm not stereotyping anyone. I'm responding to your post.
Nearly two decades later, Biden, who by 2005 was calling that vote a mistake, is running for president in part on his foreign policy experience, emphasizing his commander-in-chief credentials at a moment of heightened tensions between the United States and Iran I was citing an article about Biden's vote on the Iraq war. There is nothing in that quote about Biden being soft on Iran. If anything, the insinuation of the author is that he would be hard on Iran.
Black Friday specials, you could cover a wall for that. That way libs can watch from a fetal position, sobbing at the Electoral College results.
Yes, it wasn't very clear. Thank you. So, the argument is that Biden will take us into war with Iran, then? Or is it just a matter of judgement?
