100 Trump Vehicles Escort Harris Bus in TX

Common sense tells anyone who is honest what can clearly be seen in the video. Someone should tell the driver to stay in their lane, that's common sense!

 

Nope. At 0:16, the white vehicle is directly behind the bus. A few seconds later, it is in the lane left of the bus, colliding with the black truck. So either the white vehicle moved over and then tried to force its way back in (which makes no sense), or the Trump truck pushed it over.

Even if they aren't in their lane, you can't ram them. Please re-take all of your driving courses if you are going to pretend you can't understand that. Please never drive again.

It does look like the driver in the white car was trying to edge the truck on to the shoulder, when he had the entire center lane. Reckless driving.

Still, the collision was the truck driver's fault. He could have slowed and dropped back.

Both should get traffic tickets.

And that would be a rational response! Still, with the collision being the truck driver's fault, that's going to put more legal responsibility on the truck driver than on the white car. Glad we agree.

 

The bus was not "straddling" two lanes, it was over taking the idiotic Trump car in the middle lane in front of the bus who decided to slow down to 25mph causing the bus and staffers car to bunch up. Perhaps you could explain how a vehicle can move from lane 2 to lane 3 without crossing the lane lines?

It is very clear that the black truck has possession of the lane it is in. It is clear that the white SUV is in the lane to the left of truck, and is not across the lane lines. Look carefully, you can see the white vehicle through the windshield of the white truck.

It is also clear that the black truck is too close to the bus (so write him a ticket for tailgating).

It is also abundantly clear that there is not enough room for the white SUV to change lanes in front of the black truck. So the white SUV's driver decides to force his way into the black truck's lane by moving into that lane even though the black truck is already there beside him. Seriously, if the white SUV wants to change lanes, he doesn't have enough room to do it. To change lanes, you can't be beside the black truck - the SUV's rear end would need to be completely in front of the black truck's front end, and it clearly is not. But the white SUV moved into the lane even though the black truck is already right there beside it. The white SUV instigated this by essentially trying to force the black truck to let him make the lane change. At the very least, the white SUV committed an illegal lane change.

It is right there in the screen shot folks. White SUV should have stayed in his own lane, no room to change lanes right there.
