So, since the George Floyd death, I've spent much of the summer listening to what "normal" Liberal Democrats (as opposed to the Far Left Wing Nuts) have been talking about, calmly, and not in all caps.

I'm starting to think that high registered Democrat turnout may be helpful in swinging the election....to Donald Trump.

More things like this....



Perhaps a rich, white, old globalist establishment candidate (versus a rude, orange, but moderately liberal non-politician who loves this country and its "little people") was not in the DNC's best interest after all.

The last time I trusted pools, it was 4 years ago where each pool ended with "Good morning Ms. President", so now I am waiting.
My own prediction is that Trump will win or will declare he lost because of the vote fraud. Lets see if I am a Nostradamus.

 

Especially in places like PA where the moderate blue-collar often Catholic often pro-life union Democrat is not necessarily enamored with a party that supports unlimited abortions, reparations, white = racist, riots, globalist, elitist positions.... let alone the fact that they will destroy their jobs.

 

I'm kind of loving the little rant Weinstein went off on for the last 8 hours. It's like the great awakening...





To be fair....Weinstein isn't sold on the Right either....but is realizing that "normal" people from both parties have a lot in common with each other. Hope for unity coming soon (2024 maybe)....with totally different parties,kicking out the last of the RNC/DNC?

After taking a sobering look at 538's map tool, I'm actually not as confident about a Biden win as I was before. If he doesn't get Florida or Pennsylvania, he has to get two out of the three of NC, AZ, and GA. I don't see that happening right now, but I hope to be pleasantly surprised. Actually, I hope Florida gets called tonight for Biden so there can be no question as to who won.

What I am sure of, though, is that Trump won't get even 300 EC votes if he does win. Biden already has 240+ votes locked up. That, unfortunately, means we'll likely see some serious chaos in the coming weeks.

 

Somebody posted a meme the other day that sort of sums it up. Thinking people want four more years of Trump, BUT it would be a hoot to have drooling Joe Dementia as president and then just sit back and listen to the endless flow of insanity spilling from his lips . . . until Kamala finally takes over.

 

I don't think even the judges he picked would help Trump steal the election, but you never know

 

At least two rightwing SCrOTUS justices have signaled their intentions to aid and abet him stealing the election.

And we already have the PRECEDENT from BvG.

So yes, I can see the SCrOTUS ruling along 100% partisan lines to VIOLATE the Voting Rights of American citizens.

Doing so will provoke a reaction which will not be pretty IMO.

I have a feeling that this is NOT going to end well.

Immediately prior to the Civil War the Supreme Court made some terrible rulings that gave the green light to the secession and 600,000 subsequently died.

We are in the process of REPEATING those same steps.

 

Or perhaps it's a referendum on whether words (what you say) actually matter?

The trouble with Trump is that he continuously needs an enemy to combat. He is the autoimmune disease of politicians.

Biden will be the 'have a breather' President. We know there's not much there but at least he knows how to seek advice.

 

Advice from the warmongering RINO's and the same government which caters to elite donors. Great decision there.

Media could have turned Trump into a hero or a villain. They made a strategic choice for a reason.

I still think Trump has a shot at PA and the Presidency. Not sure. It was an odd day voting for me. About 40% of city already voted yet the registrar said they were expecting high turn out for in person voting. When I went, there weren't a lot of people there and they were all white. I have had local elections where there were more people in line and usually my polling place has a lot of blacks in it. I know that churches have been organizing against something on the ballot locally (gambling) and trying to get people to vote early. It feels almost like people just aren't going to show up because they think their side has already won or lost. There weren't even the usual people outside encouraging you to vote for this slate or that slate. It was surreal.

 

Yeah, on one hand, America doesn't "win" a choice between two divisive candidates. On the other hand record turnout is a win for democracy no matter who wins the election. I'm looking forward to 2024 myself.

People have talked about the possibility that between the Covid scares from the left and the mail scares from the right, that maybe most people who are going to vote decided to vote early, and that cannibalized today's turnout.

I voted early but have looked at today's poll locations and wait times here in Austin.

Nearly every location looks like people can get in and out in under 20 minutes.

 

Harris will win. Biden is just a demented rise.

I called it for Trump months ago BUT sense corruption this time plus Trump didn't keep enough promises.

 

If Trump wins ima gonna laugh my ass off 4 days.

If Biden wins, lots of Trumpers owe me a dinner from bets.
