Both parties want the same thing. More spending. More taxes. I didn't know wanting less taxes was purely a republican thing. Just common sense.

If you believe employers should increase their minimum pay to $15 which will result in them losing money or making less profit, then you should be willing to lower your prices resulting in losing money or making less profit. Or is somehow, your profit more important to you than their profit is to them?

We've already seen what happens when the minimum wage stays the same. Wages stagnate. And yes, I do know you said no minimum wage. I'm nearly suggesting that no minimum wage will be worse than even a stagnate minimum wage.

Since I was a teen ager, prices have gone up by around 1500%. Wages, minimum wage and the cost of goods have gone up by about that same amount. Precisely how has that benefited anyone?

Sweat shops will probably lose money. Not any business run by a competent business owner.

The rest of your post is such nonsense that it's unintelligible.

So anyone with a small business, marginal profit which requires employees with little or no training are sweat shops? Another one of your brilliant statements.

How is that a made up statement? Do you deny that there are any "small business, marginal profit which requires employees with little or no training? "

If $15 an hour is good, then $20 an hour should be better, right? Why can't you just answer a simple question?

There are places in this country where the minimum wage should probably be higher than $15/hour. Like New York City. Some lower. I don't know where, but probably some poverty-stricken county in Texas.

I support state and local governments setting a minimum wage.

So, Florida's economy isn't necessarily screwed.

Why would minimum wages ever need to be lowered?

To show how crazy it sounds when someone uses a high minimum wage by using an equally scary low minimum wage amount.

There are actually occupations, note I haven't looked it up in years, where people make $2 an hour, like waitresses, who are expected to make the rest up in tips.

That's like saying working X hours for X existence (my bold).

I can work 20 hours a week on minimum wage and live a fabulous existence. It's ALL relative.

which is the crew on Star Trek, are they Socialists or Communists?

the reality is, greedy corporatism will destroy capitalism, I think we lived during a good time, i think it's gonna be a hard transition into what is to come, the transition will come out of necessity, not cause anyone wants it right now

Greed is a human condition, and no one is exempt. It's a survival instinct. No point wailing about it in others, but you CAN live in opposition to it yourself .... if it's important enough to you. Plenty of ultra-minimalists living in one set of clothes, in one empty room, and on basic rations.

Remember - corporatism is what you get when 7 billion demand ever more stuff they don't need. There's no way to meet those demands with mom & pop corner stores. If people stop being GREEDY, the corporations will collapse. They only exist because we demand that they do.

No they don't. They NEVER forget it. Why do you think they keep up the marketing etc?

They know they only exist because we let them exist.
