    A Portland politician pushing to defund the police, claiming that most calls are not real crimes, recently called 911 herself — over an argument with a Lyft driver who refused to close his window.

    More in the article. The subject matter is interesting too. he probably didn't wanna close his window because of covid and to have fresh circulating air, so she calls 911? what's that sound like? Sounds like more DO AS I SAY NOT AS I DO

    Calling the police to come do violence over a ride share driver following pandemic precautions is the height of absurdity.

    I wish it was just Democrats. At the very least it would cut the population of Karens in (roughly) half.

    Aaaawwwww. The poor little shnookie needed to call 911 because evil bad man didn’t want to risk getting Covid. What a fine representation of the “people of Portland”!!! City deserves everything it gets.

    The sad thing is, Biden is handing over all of OUR money to bail out all the cities who let themselves burn. The rest of us who did NOTHING WRONG will watch as our tax dollars pay to rebuild what those animals did. It’s what Leftists are all about, making everyone else pay for their duck ups. NO ACCOUNTABILITY or personal responsibility.

    If she was that concerned about her safety she wouldn't be in the car with the guy.

    Is she saying she doesn't feel safe in her own city yet wants to defund the police?

    It would add another layer of hilarity to see her get fined for misuse of the 911 system, im sure the optics of it would go over her head though, i get a feeling self awareness isint her strong suit.

    The issue is the police often have to just to try and prevent it from escalating into an actual crime. Stupid stuff like this escalates when the calling party feels they haven’t been taken seriously.

    more often than not, police show up and tell him politely to kick rocks and the inside is over
