So let me get this straight....
You believe:
- Biden is lying about wanting to place a host of unnecessary and ineffective restrictions on the right to keep and bear arms
- The NRA know Biden is lying, and uses those lies as a means to scare its membership.
Right?

Making twice what I was under Obama after my wife and myself were unemployed for 12 to 24 months. Went back to work under Obama whe some jobs finally came available & worked 2 low paying jobs to make ends meet.

Now after 4 years of Trump my wife and I make 2-3 times what we made under Obama and bought a house for $600K. First home for me.

A good start.. I too am on the border.. and expect that the flood of people who you would not want to be around will start flooding in.. I expect it to severely hurt my clients good paying jobs when the fracking ban goes into effect.. and the "green new deal"? Ha! The worse thing is obtaining office thru massive voter fraud.. we will never again be able to elect the leaders we want... it will be a slide into totalitarianism.

There are a LOT of employers who would naturally choose those who aren't easily sucked in by conspiracy theories.

And, in my arena of high tech, most of those who end up fired are fired because they aren't effective at working together with others in a team environment - not becuaese they got past technical interviews by mistake.

It's not about "turning in" - it's about "finding out".

Of course I will. I will always still have those things, even if I have to carve them out of the wilderness somewhere. And since Biden will be 'governing' entirely by commitee, I don't expect his administration to get rolling on anything particularly damaging to the nation (except continued lockdowns) for a couple years, at least.

But millions (more) in the third are already dying from our 1st world shutdowns because scarcity always hit them first. Its going to continue and hit us eventually. And I can't carve a life out of the wilderness (or the deindustrialized wasteland of middle America, for that matter) for everyone.

Its not my guns and food and prosperity that Im worried about. Its just going to be really hard for me to enjoy my freedom as a well fed 'criminal'/'enemy of the (new global authoritarian) state' while most everyone else is destituted, starving and oppressed. I know its weird to some people, but I don't enjoy the suffering of others.

 

No sir I am truly sorry for your loss and experience. My sarcasm, I thought, was light but apparently not. I do apologize with much sympathy.

I know how hard life is. I lost my house and had a car repossesed during the recession. And my wife became very ill during that time and we depend, in part, on SSDI for her health care now. That was the only thing that got us back up on our feet no matter how hard I tried to juggle work and being a caregiver.

I will explain further in another post to everyone participating in this thread my true beliefs.

 

We already know Biden oversaw the worst economic recovery in modern history and he is spouting the same policies from then. We can look at history to predict the future. And is not starving to death or being murdered last year your measure of a great economy? As long as we don't all starve? Now that's rich and says a lot.

 

Biden rode the coat tails of leftist extremists. Without Bernie supporters, he wouldn't have been close. He is beholden to them.

Maybe you don't get along with them but you attempt to put Kamala in power. She is further left than Bernie!

Of course liberals opposed Viet Nam. Hanoi Jane went there as a propaganda tool for Communists. I'd never expect an American Liberal to stand against Communism. They'd like to give it a home here. It's not that they don't like War. Biden loved the Iraq War.

 

I really want to get out of this political forum habit of mine but some of this stuff is just too interesting not to comment on at all.

Basically, we've been told a few things now for years: Trump is popular, Republicans are unpopular. Biden is unpopular but Democrats are popular. So how is it that people vote for Joe Biden and only Joe Biden, giving Republicans a win in the house and a meandering Senate? Furthermore, who votes for Republicans for House but Democrats for Senate?

None of this passes the smell test. If they had picked someone who wasn't a terrible candidate, they might have gotten this past people since we're in historic times but they've set it up to be completely implausible and there is no good outcome. If Biden wins, he'll probably be the lame duck deepfake President, literally no one likes him and it's unclear what problems that could cause down the road because many people would lose faith in the integrity of the electoral system. If Trump wins through the courts, lefties will riot and tantrum for the next four years.

To answer the OP: a Joe Biden win will not ruin my life, not immediately anyway, but they really messed up here. There is literally no good outcome possible at this stage of things.

 

It's not that bad. The good outcome:

- Trump will lose but not before completely delegitimizing the Dementia/Whore ticket which is already an illegitimate lame duck to begin with.
- Trump will continue torturing and trolling the Dems with his MAGA rallies, TV appearances, heck perhaps with his own network
- The republicans will keep the senate, the Democrat house majority will be tiny and unworkable
- Joe Biden will rejoin the Paris accord..... that's about the only thing he'll achieve during his one term presidency. He'll have money to pay the dues, he won't have a penny to make any changes
- The dems will have a civil war between AOC/squad/Sanders socialist fasicsts and the moderates. The moderates will lose
- The dems will lose the House in 2022.
- A better MAGA representative than Trump will carry the torch of America First movement. He/she will become president in 2024
-The Hollywood will move to Canada where they will be thrown in jail for overstaying their visas
- Trump will be a legend and a martyr, more consequential that Ronal Reagan and FDR, he'll be on Mount Rushmore sooner or later.
