Pelosi scraps in-person dinner with new Democrat members of Congress after photo sparks backlash

This is interesting and informative on the way democrat minds work and indicative of the way the world would be if they ever took complete control. Two sets of rules, one for the ruling elites and one for us peons.
As we are told to limit family get togethers Nancy planned a huge gala event. She got caught this time and had to slink back in her hole.

I do get a humorous kick out of this thread though. Pelosi gets nailed for doing something stupid by a bunch of people who probably don't even own or at least don't use a mask.

 

I don’t know about the rest of the fools on this forum, but I do wear a mask when I leave the house.

It’s simply common sense that it will reduce the spread of the virus, and I respect my fellow Americans enough I don’t even want to risk spreading it to them if I am positive.

It seems that there are a whole lot of politicians that think that they need to set rules for the little people while they don't apply to themselves. Newsom, Gov. Whitmer's husband, the Mayor of Chicago, Quomo's brother (Fredo). Actually they only have that rule to hammer conservatives with while the left seems to ignore it on a wholesale level at times.

Trump saved millions of lives according to original estimates.

While taking action to save those lives, people like pelosi just called him racist lol.

 

Trump stopped direct flights from China ...
but then screwed up by letting indirect flights to keep coming through South Africa and Europe into NYC.
You can see it in the shift from the original out-break on the West Coast to the subsequent outbreak in NY.
Trump did nothing of value. And since that point, he has advocated not using masks and social distancing.
Now, his ineptitude has led to the infection of over 100 of his own Secret Service staff. The guy is a certified dick.

Yes. It was a bad idea.
When confronted witht the fact that it was a bad idea, these facts were analysed and the decision was changed.
You certainly can call her out for the original bad decision, I do to. But reversing course is "backing down hard"? I call it just responding correctly, listening to reason, righting a wrong, changing one's mind for the better.
