Republicans are wrong. Trump has no ‘right’ to cause this chaos.

You consider them frivolous. He doesn't. I don't know what evidence the lawyers are presenting but without it, the lawsuits won't go anywhere. No reason worry, huh?

I didn't say anything about the efficacy of the effort. Nor did I say I support it. I said he is allowed to do what he is doing. It is what it is.

It's not a question of worry. Please. It's about the proper functioning of government.

And Trump knows he has no evidence. Double please

He can sue to hearts content. That's not the issue. The issue is the transition.

Thank you Trump for ignoring these people and strengthening our democracy by investigating and ensuring an election process we can have confidence in.

What chaos? The Electoral College doesn't meet until mid December.

It took Democrats 3-1/2 years to get over Trump defeating Hillary, Obama, Obama's corrupt DOJ, our allies' intel agencies, our diplomatic corps, and a Russian Spy ... and they still aren't over it ,,,, this after whining that Trump said he wouldn't commit conceding regardless of the degree of corruption Democrats foisted against him ,,, like in 2020.

Heck, Gore didn't concede until the clock ran out ,,, and his problems weren't corrupt poll workers and polling equipment made with Chinese parts and designed to specs provided by Hugo Chavez and other lefty leaders who had to cheat to win. Gore's problems were his voters failing to mark their ballots properly. Unlike Trump, Gore just needed to pick voters who could follow instructions.

The essence of the fake news hysteria is highlighted in red. They want legitimacy for illegitimate usurper, whom they themselves made illegitimate by going all in as his campaign volunteers and his biggest super PAC, by not investigating him, not asking him questions, covering up for him, suppressing information for him, lying for him, censoring for him...

They made him illegitimate before the first ballot was cast, before we even knew about all that massive election fraud. He was illegitimate because instead of vetting him, the media was desperately trying to carry him across the finish line.

They and the libs can now whine and bleat and throw temper tantrums till they are blue in the face, Trump will continue with his lawsuits and Joe Beijing Biden will remain an illegitimate lame duck for the his entire term (if he is lucky to not lose Trump's lawsuits).

Government appears to be working properly as far as I can see - at least in the case of this election. This will all be over on or before December 13. How do I know that? Because things are working properly.

Your post is evidence of the chaos mentioned by the OP.

That seems like a minor issue. He can't act on any of it until late January. It shouldn't stand in the way of his getting his administration going.

That goes both ways. Trump can afford Biden the incoming courtesies and requirements while his frivolous lawsuits play out. It's only a couple weeks, remember?

I agree. He could. But he is emotional and thin skinned. He is probably despondent. I do see it as a minor issue, though, as I said earlier.

Many disagree. It's been shown that the delay in transition during the 2000 recount gave a boost to the 9/11 attackers. I'm not saying that's going to happen, but being unprepared is not acceptable. No reason for it. Yes, Trump is a baby. It's past time the other Republicans spoke up and Ivanka needs to move her father along here.

It was about five weeks before Gore conceded.

I am amazed at how Trump supporters have the same ability as Trump himself in twisting every event into what they want it to be, regardless & irrespective of the reality of the situation. Trump's own Dept of Homeland Security released a statement a couple of days ago saying the 2020 election was "the most secure ever held in America in our history." That means it was totally trustworthy. That means it accurately reflects the will of the voters who participated. And remember, it was record breaking in the numbers of participants. You should be proud that our democratic system is functioning so well instead of trying to find fault with it.

That's because the results depended on an accurate count in one single state--FL. The 2020 election doesn't do that. So there's really nothing to resolve. The numbers are clearly in Biden's favor. Biden won. And based on former statements by Trump himself, who had 306 electoral votes--the same as Biden in 2020--this election is "a landslide." There's no reason for Trump to continue pretending he won or even that he might win if we wait. He won't. It's decided.

Saying that all previous losers had conceded was a meaningless statement.

Not quite. I have no problem with President Trump contesting the election and making legal challenges. That is his right . I am also not really concerned with a concession although that might help a bit with unity and with the image of this country abroad.
I do however strenuously object to the President and his most strident supporters endangering the welfare of this country by not allowing the Biden transition team to have security briefs or not sharing covid-19 information which might help speed the anti virus effort. There is absolutely no good reason for this except spite.
So go to court, investigate, and have rallies, but should you not prevail those that succeed you should not go into this blindly; and should you succeed sharing this information does you no harm.
