That's nothing more than a redistribution scheme.

If somebody is earning the salary that caps them out of contributing to SS, its because they won't be reliant on the program to retire. They won't become a liability on society.

They want the high wealth earners to contribute, and I'm sure will turn around and say "you don't need to take back an equal proportion of your contribution, that's too much," using their money to fund the program.

Utter nonsense. The vast majority of Biden voters have no clue what his progressive economic platform is other than maybe some of the young ones heard something about free college and student loan forgiveness.

I looked at it and very little in the way specifics other than raising minimum wage to $15 an hour. And this regarding stopping the pandemic; Implement mask mandates nationwide by working with governors and mayors and by asking the American people to do what they do best: step up in a time of crisis.

Exactly, if it was an progressive economic platform that was the reason, the Democrats would have swept down ballot offices instead of losing seats in the house, losing state legislature and a governorship. Considering Biden won by around 5 million votes, give or take. The GOP down ballot showing was excellent.

With this mixed bag of results, there wasn't a mandate or an approval of either party's agenda or policies. It was more of a "Let's get rid of Trump, but let's not give the Democrats full, absolute power."
