No. It was Bill and Hillary and Liberal geniuses on the 9th Circus ,,,, the Flores Consent Decree from 1997. It says that unaccompanied children can be held only 20 days. A ruling by the Ninth Circuit extended this 20-day limit to children who come as part of family units. So even if we want to hold a family unit together, we are forbidden from doing so.

Situations for which parents were to be held until their cases were adjudicated could not land their children in jail with their parents for more than 20 days.

The difference is that Liberals were considered compassionate when they decided children should be ripped out of their mothers' arms. Trump, who tried to reverse the consent decree and lost was blamed for using Obama's kid cages to fulfill the Bill and Hillary decree.

Your second link maintains around 10,000 MS-13 gang members in the US; which translates to under 0.032% of the total population, which is miniscule when you look at it.

Your third link is the most condemning of the Trump administration, to wit:

The main thrust of my original post was these children are packed into what is basically metal crates to the point where many of them sleep on the floors. Yet the Trump administration has done nothing to resolve this issue as well. Why hasn't Trump had these children taken out and placed in better facilities??

That is where the human element comes into play; something you need to understand.

I had to cut through back yards on my way home from elementary school so they wouldn't find out where I lived, They threatened to kill my family. I was robbed on my way to the library and looked down the barrel of a gun more than once.

I will happily condemn the Trump admin for failing to secure our borders when he had the political power. Dems put out incentives to cross illegally. Free health care, covid money, drivers licences, sanctuary, etc.

It is you that needs to understand the human element. Perhaps you can live in one of these gang infested neighborhoods and report back.

You oppose free healthcare for illegals yet you forget the public health issue; lack of covid money means that petit crime will go up as illegals struggle to survive and feed their kids;l again, there is a human element involved.

 

I have noticed there has definitely been a marked increase among the right, and more so amongst the Trump apologists, is this inability to be able to understand the consequences of the things they want to change or abandon. I'm still on the fence as to whether that degree of callousness is based on pure selfishness or just downright stupidity, or some combination of both.
