No I didn’t forget illegal, are we going to pretend trump didn’t also go after legal immigration like asylum, refugees and chain migration?

and the right... the right think owning a gun is a privilege and ex-felons should be denied the privilege

either it's a right, or it's a privilege, can't be both, same with voting

Those were issues we discussed here on the forum.

Memes are great. Why think for ones self when it has already been done for you. That meme is meant to depict Trump and gun owners in a negative light. Reasonable people can discuss what he said and either agree or disagree without giving in to emotion. Feinstein agreed and her face lit up when he said that. I strongly disagree and will use it as an example of what to expect when we hand our rights over to politicians.

Those who have harmed others should never be allowed to buy, own, or posses a firearm. They should also be excluded from voting. If they did not harm

It wasn't ignored so no one pretended it didn't happen. Opinions ranged from open borders to letting them apply from their side.

So if you know republicans are trying to reduce legal immigration why would you suggest I forgot the word illegal?

You mean like they were not submitted under the rules set by the state legislature?

You already corrected me and said you didn't forget. You left it out intentionally. Those other categories are attempts to make illegal immigration legal under the guise of asylum/refugee status. It was discussed.

On topic, this is a serious claim. I really don't trust politicians. All of them should have their communications with other politicians and lobbyists live streamed.

Plenty of refugee and asylum isn’t remotely a guise. Nor does that address his ending chain migration.

"plenty" is a vague term. It is an attempt to get the same people into the country and secure votes from their families.

How is a Syrian refugee the “same people”? Same as what? How’s that address chain migration?

Sorry, I was talking about treating those south of our border as refugees/asylum seekers. There are long threads on each of these issues.

Plenty of legit claims south of the border too. Still not addressing my point that republicans want to reduce all immigration. But now it seems like you agree.

It would be better for the country to drastically reduce all immigration until unemployment rates drop. I shared my experience living in a gang infested neighborhood and why I oppose allowing gangs to strengthen their numbers through illegal immigration. Syria requires a much longer discussion and would require a complete hijacking of this thread.

Lindsey Graham, a US Senator from NC, has no business interfering, in any way, in a state's rights issue. It's out of his scope.

This nonsense is going to help two D Senator wannabees from George in January.

I'd prefer a republican senate, but Trump is behaving like a 2nd grader who can't have the new Lego set.

To be honest, he behaved like that throughout most of his presidency, except for maybe one or two presidential moments. For the most part, however, it was just like middle school yard politics.

Why is it that the only thing WAPO does is spin stories?

Does it matter at all to any Democrat that Senator Graham has denied he spoke to the man to tamper with the election? Democrats tamper with it daily.

And this is from another Democrat favoring source.

For his part, Graham — a onetime Trump critic who has become one of the president’s staunchest supporters — told Gardner he was just asking questions, worried about fraud, and trying to find out how Georgia verified mail ballots were legitimate. (Graham later said he made a similar call to the governor of Arizona and unnamed other officials.)

But another Georgia official on the call, Gabe Sterling, confirmed Tuesday that the conversation did indeed entail a discussion of whether Raffensperger could discard all ballots from counties with high signature rejection rates. Sterling also said, however, that he could see why Raffensperger and Graham may have interpreted the conversation differently.

They did not report all that much of the story. Just tried to spin it to make Graham look lousy.

Graham confirmed the call but denied the spin put on it by the Election official.

When WAPO tells a story, you can bank it that it will be anti Trump.

What part of "shall not be infringed" is confusing to you? Do you support the second amendment or do you settle for supporting it a little bit more then democrats? Which is it?
