We Aussies have been putting people into quarantine the whole time - yeah it has pissed off some but most see it as necessary and it has kept our death rate for the entire country for the entire year below the number who died in the USA yesterday

Prison camp inmates have been convicted of some sort of crime. Concentration camp inmates have been extracted from the general population to isolate them because of who they are. The idea is to "concentrate" that portion of the populace in one place, away from the general population, so that it is more convenient to systematically violate their rights without having to worry about witnesses.

 

It really is funny that the same people saying you can't trust mainstream media trot out this cr ap and think it's real.

Canadians will not be forced into COVID-19 internment or containment camps, a spokesperson for Health Minister Patty Hajdu said Tuesday — taking aim at a disinformation campaign that has been circulating on social media for weeks.

The federal government has announced funding for voluntary quarantine sites for some of the country's homeless and has made plans to expand self-isolation capacity for returning international travellers without suitable places to go, but Canadians will not be compelled to leave their homes for so-called COVID "camps."

"The answer is no, we're not building containment or internment camps," the spokesperson told CBC News.

"Disinformation like this is intended to deceive Canadians and cause fear and confusion. We encourage Canadians to double-check sources before sharing to avoid spreading disinformation."

Nobody claimed the politician didn't say it but some of us looked further in to his accusations and found further information suggesting he was lying (something he apparently has a history of).
