Do you think that each state provides their own food for their citizens? What state has caused a food shortage with their shut downs? And, what would you do if you ran a state that has become a hot spot and the local hospitals are out of ICU beds?

Some states provide more food than others. And the food has to be transported and stocked on shelves to be sold by local business that have to remain open for it all to work. Or we can just shut it all down and save lives? States that need Fed support request it. That’s how it works. Or they can refuse it because “Trump”.

So, you believe that if Trump would have claimed that this was a serious virus and instilled fear in Americans, that the outcome would be different? I thought the left didn't believe anything he said, so why now does he suddenly have this huge impact on the spread?

This is not about the left or the right this is about doing the right thing. Who ever said anything about instilling "fear"? Did you? I did not so why are you talking untruths about me?

You know that Trump admitted in an interview with Woodward that he ( Trump) denied that the virus was dangerous because he did not want the American people to panic. So Trump admitted that he ( Trump) lied.
Early admission and recognition that this Virus was dangerous followed up by the government (Feds) mobilizing and attacking the virus would have helped put us in a much better poisition. No wearing masks in not the end all but it does help to reduce the chances of aquifing the virus and it helps reducing one person infecting others. Early use of social distancing would have help the spread. What Trump did was poisoned the minds of his cultists and his followers against masks and by doing so he created a partisan war between mask wearers and virus deniers. Trump caused us to not respond to the virus and by poisoning his Cultists from wearing masks he actually cause the virus to spread and therefore he cause more Americans to die from the virus.

Just watch his news conferences and his rallies. Get real your guy is a UnTruth teller and a loser. Time for him to go to Mar Lago or Russia wherever will accept him.

    See from this link

    "
"I don't wear masks like him. Every time you see him, he's got a mask. He could be speaking 200 feet away from it, and he shows up with the biggest mask I've seen," Trump said, bragging about the large crowds of supporters at his outdoor rallies, many not wearing masks.

Today he and his lame brained attorneys are trying to overturn the Federal judge who yesterday threw their case out of court in Pa. because of a complete lack of ANY PROOF of their allegations. He is trying to get the almost 7 MILLION voters a record number who voted disenfranchised of their citizenship by having their votes discarded from the election. He is far more interested in keeping his massive ego overinflated than protecting the rights of our countries citizens. He does not now nor has he ever deserved to be our president, he is a **** stain in the history of our democracy.

Yep and while they were saying that they were also condemning Trump as a racist because he was actually trying to do something. Now they are blaming Trump for what they caused; fortunately for them the nation's mainstream media is essentially working for the DNC.

These people were waiting for a CHARITABLE Organization to begin passing out FREE FOOD to the people who have lost their jobs or who are earning so little they need to spend hours in line waiting for charitable handouts. It will get CONSIDERABLY worse at the end of December when rent forgiveness programs expire and months of unpaid rent comes due, and many states unemployment benefits run out and end. We are going to see millions more homeless people and much more bread lines all across our country and our government has done NOTHING to prepare for it no planning just the same way they handled the Covid crisis. Biden will inherit one hell of a mess from Dirty Donald who would rather golf than govern.

Yes, I should have said "grounding" in the first question, my bad. I completely agree with your second sentence, and I do not remember if I had to take another shot before ETS. It was 1971.

Actually it's a joke shared by those who are retiring. The last shot is the one that kills you in a few years after retirement so the government doesn't have to pay for retirement and healthcare. I joined the army in 1974 and ETS in 1978. I ended up enlisting in the Coast Guard and served for 16 years.

Since when did the Democrats give a **** about the homeless? Almost every homeless person in America lives in a Democratic controlled district. Every single policy brought by the progressive left is geared specifically to dramatically increase the rate of homelessness. I have not figured out why they want to increase so badly, but the data is undeniable.

Apparently their governor thinks that four cases in a two week period is equivalent to "all of the employees or the vast majority of them have COVID"

I knew a friend Jack with a similar story. I can't remember which branch first, but he ended up in helicopters for CG.

It falls on the city leadership in Dallas. Dallas have reinstitute their own controls. Same thing in Houston. Same thing in Austin. Same thing in El Paso. This isn't the Gov of the state of TX. Notice also that in these cities, the hospitals aren't over run. The number of deaths isn't rising as a percentage of infections. none of the hyperbolic BS has actually happened. What has happened, is that lots of folks are having tests now. And surprise, those tests are showing a positive result.... (until they are being retested, and the results are conflicting with the original tests) until, folks don't show symptoms, aren't getting sick, not going to the hospitals, or otherwise over burdening the hospitals. But who cares... lockdowns punish people. It drives fear. and don't democrats love them some fear.

I was a dropmaster/loadmaster on HC-130H and J models and finished the CG on the HU-25 Falcon. I worked on UH-1 Hueys in the Army.

That's great if people have the money to buy food. Many states have started drive-up food handout stations. People have been waiting up to 6+ hours to receive the food.
