Thing is, the USA doesn't exist in a vacuum. Without the rest of the world buying your stuff, you'll lose your top position. You didn't get rich and powerful by shutting yourself in. If you piss everybody else, especially your main customer you'll be the loser in the end.

    Indeed.

And when it gets to this point, I may change my views. Until then, I don't really give a **** what the rest of the World thinks of the United States.

I agree. I contend that picking sides in a blood feud only serves to perpetuate that feud - and this is mostly what has happened with US policy .. although not all.

Al-Qaida's No. 2, Accused in U.S. Embassy Attacks,
    Is Secretly Killed in Iran

WASHINGTON — Al-Qaida’s second-highest leader, accused of being one of the masterminds of the deadly 1998 attacks on U.S. embassies in Africa, was killed in Iran three months ago, intelligence officials have confirmed.

Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah, who went by the nom de guerre Abu Muhammad al-Masri, was gunned down on the streets of Tehran by two assassins on a motorcycle on Aug. 7, the anniversary of the embassy attacks. He was killed along with his daughter, Miriam, the widow of Osama bin Laden’s son Hamza bin Laden.

The attack was carried out by Israeli operatives at the behest of the United States, according to four of the officials. . .

Ah! I thought people had stopped saying this. There have been people but they are either deported, dead or in prison. Israel does not like non violent protest...and the world will not see or hear about it any more but people still believe a people who have been having their land and resources taken from them since '47 are very naughty and deserve to be killed and have their land taken away because they do not meet guns with silence. There used to be a site on the Palestinian Ghandi mentioning all the Palestinians who have tried and failed at this strategy but I couldn't find it.

I did do a search to see what people are thinking of this belief nowadays but I would bring to your attention that the West Bank has been policed by its own since Oslo and Israel's intent is to take 60% of it. In other words the West Banks strategy of non violence, which they were told would get them a state looks like it will result in them losing most of what would have been that State. It itself was only 22% of their original homeland. In Oslo Arafat agreed that they were prepared to give up 78% of their homeland for 22% as a viable contiguous state. Of course they never got it.

Here are some people talking about Palestinian Ghandis

The writer gives his opinion of this lofty ideal

The people of Gaza have been so dehumanised in the US that they are supposed to willingly allow themselves to be beaten up in order to get a few crumbs of their own land which let's be honest they would not get. In the first Intifada there was a policy of breaking their bones, that'd be a good one for the Palestinian Ghandis though no one would ever notice or say a word if they did.

What will probably happen is Biden will talk tough about Israel all while supporting them with benefits when people are not looking.

...And Donald Trump then looked up at me and said "I hate puppies, and registered voters aged 18-35, especially those in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Florida"

    Yeah right.

You're pushing the "blood feud" theory in almost every one of your posts about Israel. Now you're telling me that you don't know what blood feud culture means? Seriously?

A society that practices blood feud - either as a custom or codified in laws - has a blood feud culture. Jews don't have a blood feud culture.

Here's an example of blood feud culture:
    https://news.fit.edu/psychology_beh...s-and-honor-killing-not-just-foreign-affairs/

Here's the definition of blood feud:
    https://www.britannica.com/topic/feud-private-war

    Another definition:
    https://www.encyclopedia.com/social-sciences-and-law/law/crime-and-law-enforcement/blood-feud

Now please explain why do you think that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a blood feud.

No idea what "You Mean" by blood feud culture. .. but it matters not - as this does not change the fact that the conflict between the Jews and Israeli's is a blood feud.

That you think there needs to be a custom codified into law for a blood feud to exist is laughable nonsense -

I understand exactly what you mean by blood feud, you could point to the "price tag" attacks as an example. Sophistry is the name of the game with zionist propaganda..

Exactly - the term arises from the Ancient Greeks - around the time of Draco - round 600 BC - the bloods feuds were out of hand .. one side kill one of the other .. then back and forth. Draco put an end to it by instituting "Draconian" law - you kill someone - we don't care .. state is coming after you. .. lex talionis .. eye for eye .. tooth for tooth.. very harsh measures instituted.. but it ended the blood feuds.

Anytime you have two sides going back and forth - one side kills one .. the other then retaliates .. and on and on.. its a blood feud .. be it family dies or ethnic - like the Tootsies and the Houthies - or two other tribes going at it .. Palastinians and Israeli's in this case .. with a whole lot of politics and taking sides mixed in.

Dear God, I really wish You existed, because You're the only one in this whole weird Universe who could explain why native English speakers don't understand simple expressions and definitions in their own native tongue.

@Giftedone - what part of "either...or..." is difficult to understand? (re: "That you think there needs to be a custom codified into law for a blood feud to exist" - no, I don't).

@Ronald Hillman - what part of "two groups within a society" and what part of "The hostile groups are related in some way, such as being members of the same political or cultural unit" (from the definition of blood feud) are hard to understand? There's more to say about your post, of course, for example that Price Tag is a consequence, not the cause of the conflict, but feel free to misinterpret these words as well.

    Dear God, help!

What, that Israel only exists because the UN voted to partition Palestine?

When Sharon went off to kill Arabs in revenge attacks, that was a blood feud, when Arabs blow up kids on a school bus that is a blood feud, when Jews burn a house down in a price tag attack just because the people in the house are Arabs that is a blood feud. They are connected by cultural and family ties, both religious Jews and religious Arabs believe they are the descendants of Abraham, one from one son and the other from another. I understand exactly what Giftdone means, its sophistry to try to use the definition of a word to deny what the whole world can see.

    How did you get from:

"Most are fed up with the Palestinian wall of lies.."

    to

"You prefer to kill all Israelis like Hamas?"

Probably the same way you got from "Most are fed up with the Palestinian wall of lies.." to "What, that Israel only exists because the UN voted to partition Palestine?"

Since we are talking about ME, what will sleepy Joe rebuild? Move US embassy back to Tel Aviv? Cancel peace agreements between Israel and its Arab neighbors? Restore financial aid to Palestinians so they can pay larger stipends to the families of jailed Palestinian terrorists?

Anything else needs to be restored?
