I'm glad that Trump is done, but like so many others I don't care for Biden at all. I don't think he has a following, and his win is nothing more than getting rid of Trump. But I do get tired of what seems like endless gloating.

Politics has become a sick sport in today's world. We play this game of outrage and give ourselves a boost of dopamine, but in reality I don't think we're half as smart as we think we are. It used to be that we had opinions and understood that opinions were not unquestionable facts. Now, it seems that we have no opinions--we have knowledge and truth and anyone who can't see the world the way we do is stupid and blind. Has that flame of enlightenment burned out? Or are we just dealing with the growing pains of an online world?

Trump helped China far more than he hurt them.
Trump's alienation of our EU trading partners drove them right into the arms of China. Trump's poor handling of relations with
the Pacific Rim nations opened the door for new trade agreements with the US left out. Trump's poor handling of relations with
Mexico gave China new inroads into the Mexican market.

Trump screwed the pooch on China.

Trump, himself, is assuring that his name remains in the news.

Well impeachment only needs a simple majority, so depending on how georgia goes, it would be very easy.

However, you also have to take into account on how the public will review the impeachment. over 57% of American supported the impeachment of trump and believed that his actions wanted investigation. The Republicans might lose someinfie and moderate support if an impeachment of Biden doesn't at least have that initial support

It could hurt the GOP in the midterms of the majority of Americans see impeaching Biden as a retaliation, and do not believe that Biden did anything which required impeachment

Everyone who voted for Trump would support it, that is plenty.

Is his rape case still ongoing because we could use that.

When you have been radicalized and been filled with hatred for 4 years, its difficult to turn it off. Some of these people have talked about NOTHING but Trump for 4 years. They have absolutely no idea what to talk about now.

It would probably be the best thing that could happen to the Republicans.

    SERIOUSLY?

Perhaps you missed the part where Trump's GSA plant refused to allow the transition to go forward?
Maybe you were in the crapper yesterday when GSA B-word finally allowed the transition to begin?
Maybe you missed the part where Trump ordered transition personnel not to cooperate with Biden personnel?
Maybe you were asleep the last 3 weeks while Trump filed and lost lawsuit after lawsuit?
Maybe you were watching You-Tube animes and missed the part where Trump hasn't conceded?

I'm sure you were out of the universe when Republicans took the House, Senate and Presidency in 2016.

They guy is President and will be until Jan 20. So we can all prepare for over 2 months of Trump stupidity along with Trumpinistas defending his stupidity with more of the same.

Can't blame the Dems for this.

BTW ...2 years ago Cap'n Cheeto wasn't on the ballot and Rs got creamed.
Prepare for more of the same in 40 days (oh, how Biblical) and in 2 years.

It's inactive, but Trump's aren't.There are pending cases of sexual misconduct against him, including rape. When he leaves the White House in January 2021 he loses his protection from prosecution.

    This here is the reality.

Trump will spend years in a directed campaign claiming he was robbed. His followers will echo the conspiracies. His lawyers will be working on the case...constantly...with evidence right over the horizon...constantly.

I'm hoping, and predicting, that the vast majority of Americans will be ignoring Trump's delusions. He's less powerful now than he was before he was elected. He probably would have been better off not coming down that escalator. Well, if you take debt and criminal prosecution out of the equation.

He's a weak faltering man. He's gonna fade.

You really are banking on repubs to take over the house in 2022, eh? Remember, immigration under Biden will be more lax, and they tend to vote for democrats. Also note that by 2022, two more tiers of youngsters, who tend to vote democratic, will enter the voting marketplace.

You know the old saying, 'don't count your chickens before they are hatched'.

As opposed to what, Trump's Goldman & Sachs cronies and lobbyists who opposed the departments they were appointed to?

I loved Obama, I'm glad he's back. I would have preferred Bernie, but Trump is gone, and that is huge relief.

Young people simply don't in midterms, they never have. Only once in history as the party in power picked up seats if I remember correctly.

They lost enough this election to put it in easy reach for the republicans and considering republicans did very well overall I am not seeing that changing.

Biden and the democrats honeymoon won't last very long and they really have no agenda other then getting rid of Trump'

It's possible they could go against history and win seats but I wouldn't be getting money on that.

You can always find exceptions but historically they don't and you don't have Trump in there to stir them up anymore.

I don't see any sort of trend starting with them suddenly voting in midterms.

I sincerely believe his followers knew very little about him - the reality of him - prior to the escalator descent. Unfortunately, now they won't likely believe any of it.

You also left out that China is responsible for hacking our government on numerous occasions as well as our businesses.

Clearly the poster HAS NOT BEEN PAYING ATTENTION. Truump inherited 4.7% unemployment rate and a thriving economy. Right now we have about a 14-15% unemployment rate and growing weekly. A huge number of small medium and large businesses have closed up shop and gone out of business. Our country is in approximately 28 TRILLION in National Debt, having added 8 Trillion in Dirty Donalds 4 years. We are FAR WORSE OFF TODAY THAN WE WERE on January 20,2017.

Ok, place your money on that then.

Although if Trump had any effect why do you think the republican did so well overall?

There certainly was no blue wave.

Sure, the more liberal the better. The American people will become disgusted with the rioting, the humanitarian crisis on the border as liberals open the floodgates to hordes of foreigners, the collapsed economy as taxes and regulations are raised and Biden offers concessions to his Beijing handlers.

Lol...Don'cha know? He's already shedding twitter followers like the plague.
I suspect that the majority of his followers were just curious about the freak show and not buying into his rancid bullshit. Now he's a failure and old news.
But we'll keep bringing up trump as an object lesson like the History Channel plays documentaries about Hitler and his murdering dictatorship to remind people how evil takes hold in the world.

I know you're gonna cite the coronavirus, and I'm going to cite some bad news: It's a plague. Even if Trump had been entirely truthful this January, it wouldn't have made a difference(despite 'studies' trying to quantify the unquantifiable, such is the year 2020) and yeah, Biden himself isn't going to make a difference either, the vaccine might.

To the grand point: Unlike a Hitler, Trump is responsible for ZERO American deaths(in totality), zero. There's no camps, there's no discrimination. Nothing. You can't keep calling Trump a Hitler, and have not even a single example of a human rights violation.

There isn't even a major complaint from the UN.
