She's in the House. Every 2 years is their election schedule. She just got re-elected. Unfortunately.

How do I get Republican Party nomination to run against her? Or would I be better off running as a Democrat and primary her?

I just want to end her movement before more Jamal Bowmans pop up

You'd be better off coming up with a policy platform that goes beyond just hating an individual and wanting to stop abortion.

Why do you want to do that ?

"An economy that works for all" (Sanders/AOC) is definitely desirable, in fact necessary if democracy is to survive.

You're free to believe that but your question was about running for Congress and to do that, you'd need a wider platform.

Also, if you're only interested in a single issue, I'm not sure how targeting a specific politician would be beneficial. I gather AOC is so-called "pro-choice" and has apparently spoken on the topic but she's hardly any kind of keystone or focus on it. On a single issue, I'd suggest you'd be better off with focused campaigning more widely (something there are plenty of groups already doing, on all sides of this issue and many others). Replacing a single seat in Congress isn't going to help you much in any practical terms. To really shift a major policy such as this, you'd need to change the minds of the wider population (though on this issue, I very much doubt you could change that majority opinion to your extreme position anyway).

What does freedom and fairness have to do with supporting free college and eliminating student debt?

And what does your article have to do with AOC specifically? It doesn't mention her even slightly.

A Republican did run against her. And other Democrats also. LINK

You need a lot more than just running as a Republican or a Democrat to win an election. And despite what you may think of as the "greatest issue facing the human race"...others are going to disagree. Especially in an area that generally supports abortion. Like AOC's district. You will never win against her as abortion being your main issue. You won't even make it to the runoffs. Not in her district.

Add in the power of incumbency combined with the level of stupidity in her district. I've yet to hear of anything she's done for them save run the potential cash cow Amazon out of town. Go figure.

It doesn't have to mention AOC.

Free education and eliminating student are just one policy of the Sanders /AOC "socialist Left' platform, being an element of "an economy that works for all".

As to fairness, obviously anyone who has the capacity to achieve at the tertiary level should not be encumbered by debt at the start of their career.

Democracy will not survive unless fairness - as in universal above poverty participation - and freedom are a right of citizenship, in order to gain everyone's buy-in to democracy.

Millennials are rapidly losing interest in democracy

"Not long ago, liberal democracy was regarded by many as not just the best form of government, but the inevitable form of government. At the end of the Cold War, Francis Fukuyama famously called the end of history: democracy had won, everything else had failed.

In 2017, that view looks naive. New research warns that democracy’s fan base is shrinking, especially among younger people.

Falling out of love with democracy

In a paper published by Roberto Stefan Foa of the University of Melbourne and Yascha Mounk of Harvard shows that the proportion of people who support “having a strong leader who does not have to bother with parliament or elections” has risen across the world over the past 25 years, in many cases considerably.".

Obviously because the economy is not working for everyone.

    "It's the economy, stupid".

Do you live in AOC's district (NY-14), are at lest 25 years old, and have U.S. citizenship for at least 7 years? If you do, then you just have to submit the paperwork and fees to be a challenger.

Here is a link to NY rules for applying to be a candidate.

    Good luck with your campaign.

You do not have to live in the district. How do I get nominated as republican. I will take any issues I can to beat her and crush the hope of progressives everywhere.
I read that if you do not run for a party nomination you need 3500 signatures !

You'll have to wait until 2022, find out which Republican is running against her, and either donate money, or offer to volunteer in some manner.

Jamaal and AOC are in two different districts, NY14 and NY16. Are you wanting to oust both of them?

Is it? Do you know that women have been aborting unwanted pregnancies for thousands of years? The big difference in modern times is that it is a safe and legal procedure, not subject to the vagaries of side effects from mostly herbal abortifacients, or the dangers of back-alley practitioners.

I understand your sentiment, but you may as well go spit into the wind, or try to empty the ocean with a bucket. What takes place in a woman's body is rightfully and constitutionally her business, and no one else's.

Ah ha! I stand corrected. You merely need to live in New York State to run in any district.

From there, the same paperwork would need to be filed whether you were to run as a Democrat or Republican.

It would be advantageous to network with some GOP party insiders if you are interested in running as a Republican.

Here is the New York GOP website. I'm sure they could answer all of your questions about the process to become a candidate.

You don’t even have to live in New York. You just have to be a resident the day of being sworn into office.

I just do not know how to get the nomination. Do I send in an application?

I would recommend that you send an email to the New York GOP which I linked. If I were interested in running for office, I would start by contacting the party's organization in my state. You will get much better, and more accurate, answers by asking the right people. There is a screening process for candidates who they will put their money behind. Failing that, you will want to start collecting petition signatures.

How many abortions have you been forced to have this week?
How many abortions have people you actually know been forced to have this week?
I'm going to guess the number on both is ZERO
Between election day and Inauguration day another 100k people will die from covid.
Over the next 50 years millions of people will die as a result of climate change

Perhaps it is time to order your priorities.

I agree, the right trying to force rape victims to have their rapists babies is a major issue we should all be against

BTW, most women have at least one if not many abortions in their lifetimes, as abortions are natural.... though I assume you mean medically induced abortions
