https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/20...ill-be-very-hard-thing-concede-biden-n1249114 Trump says he will leave the White House if the Electoral College votes against him on Dec. 13. good to see some common sense finally kicking in. its pretty impossible that Trump will win the Electoral College vote, as every state has laws saying the Popular vote decides who wins the state's electors. And state electors are LOYAL Democrats or Republicans, so very few if any will go Faithless for Trump. Trump would have to flip or cancel the results in Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, Pennsylvania in order to win. and that ain't gonna happen.
He would need to flip 3. or 2 PA + either MI/GA and get a faithless elector. He will continue to try his coup for at least 18 more days
He has already said he would if, on Dec. 14th, the EC confirms Biden as the next president. But he will never admit to the loss. His ego won't allow that.
Actually, it was "righty's" who thought he wouldn't leave because somehow Giuliani (get this!) could make the courts keep him there (hilarious!). There was no doubt whatsoever on the mind of anybody on the left that he would leave. One way or another. What the "lefty's" wondered was if he would leave of his own accord, or if the Secret Service would need to carry him out. Personally, I would have very much enjoyed the latter. And I am pretty sure that many in the Secret Service would have too.
I was hoping for a "perp march" out of the White House, handcuffs and all. Alas, my hopes are dashed!
The president-elect can “only enter the White House as President if he can prove that his ridiculous ‘80,000,000 votes’ were not fraudulently or illegally obtained,”
