No, masks eradicated the flu, remember?
Must not work on SARS-COV-2 however

And yet, that's what morons like DeSantis and Trump have been doing, and continue doing.

Deaths in NY last 7 days 374
Deaths in FL last 7 days 473

And we're still having warm weather in FL, NY is already seeing cooler weather. You wouldn't know this, but cold weather means more cases.

    Total cases in NY 603,592
    Total cases in FL 924,613

And NY started much earlier than we did.

I don't think we are at the peak now but high. Told the kids I'm not coming to the family event where there will be about 15 people from three different families two of them not close to me and indoors. Haven't been to the watering hole for well over a month. Just some outside grandkid football games. I'm a senior with other health issues raising my risk.

Hopefully I'll be able to get one of the vaccines early on due to that. Amazing we will have them before the end of the year along with all the other effective therapeutics that are out now.

Could this be due to the fact that people are working from home and not going out? I know insurance companies are sending refund cheques back to clients due to less claims. I saw reports that automotive deaths and injuries are down worldwide due to covid. Automotive deaths are often cited as one of the biggest non health related killers. My wife and I have both been working from home since March and we rarely drive our vehicles anymore. With less social activities and places to go people are staying home and watching netflix. Life has gotten boring but probably a bit safer statistically.

I just did a quick google and they say approximately 38000 people die ever year from traffic accidents. If that number decreased significantly it could be a start to the explanation. Maybe if we start factoring in mortality from other work areas and that were impacted by the change in social behavior due to covid we can start forming a hypothesis.

I just read that about 47000 deaths per year come from unintentional poisoning. What is that? Is that drug use? Also another 33000 deaths per year from falling.

Have you considered that you did not actually offer an argument? That you offered merely an appeal to emotions?

    You're welcome!

That is the death rate for people who contract the COVID virus not the overall death rate of the country.

Deaths, 18k vs 34k. I’ll let you guess who is more. I’ll take those odds living down here bud. And our economy isn't nearly as crippled as NY. So if Desantis is a moron, what does that make Cuomo? An Emmy AWARD WINNER!!! What a fracking joke the Left has become. Did he get it for acting like a competent person while actually being the worst mass murderer in the country?

The more the high and mighty force us to do things we don't want to do, they more they literally go out and do the things they tell us not to do.

COVID-19 rules appear ignored at birthday party featuring Brooklyn political players

Adherence to COVID regulations was checked at the door at a recent birthday party featuring a number of Kings County powerhouses.

Photos of a celebration for Carlo Scissura, head of the powerful construction trade organization New York Building Congress, show revelers in close quarters without masks.

That statistic is nonsense. NY had the pandemic before doctors knew how to treat it.

Deaths in NY last 7 days 374
Deaths in FL last 7 days 473

There is no way you can defend DeSantis. His mishandling of the pandemic is only exceeded by Trump's

You and so many others have such a fetish over numbers generated by a bogus test. Does that make you easily led to false conclusions?

There is no "bogus test" for dying.

To say that any PCR run for more than thirty-something cycle will be a false positive, or increase the likelihood of a false positive, is misleading and wrong. The false-positive PCR problem is not a problem.

The "false-positive PCR" problem is not a problem - Virology Down Under

If you knew what you are talking about you would know Fauci was speaking to when you are no longer contagious, not if you have covid.

    Deaths on November 26:
    Florida-0
    New York-69

I think you may want to pull back on your claims. New York is ramping up. It has more than doubled it's daily rate in the last week. I believe you will be disproven in the next month.

    Yes. This one.
The quote from Fauci that everyone keeps using is from an interview where they were discussing when you were no longer contagious. This is where Fauci said he thought we were running to many cycles.
It has nothing to do with you having caught Covid.
Since he said that I think the CDC has changed from 14 days quarantine to 10.
