I understand what you say. Sending a former President to prison will be traumatic for the country. But, to me, this has nothing to do with personal preferences. Not sending him to prison would be nothing short of tragic for this nation. It would change the very nature of the Republic forever and in an irrecoverable way.

 

What is sad is that they could have video proof, republican eyewitnesses and a signed confession, and the 50m+ cultists would still think it was fake

IIRC it was the French Revolution's Committee of Public Safety that guillotined a ton of their political opponents. Democrats won't go that far but you can expect a heavy police state purging. Remember they just didn't want Trump out of office, they wanted to destroy him and his entire family.

You say that like its in the lefts hands. When Trump goes to jail it will be because of Trumps actions that lead him there, not the "left going after him".
