As I said there's no denying that there is this hideous virus but America has had it with being jerked around by the lies and half truths about the seriousness of the situation, particularly when the politicians are not following their own edicts. Trashing Thanksgiving was just a preview of their America hating plans if they are given the keys to the kingdom. Their war on Christmas began long before the pandemic. While Christmas is not exclusively an American holiday its observance is up there with the 4th of July. Christmas may be rooted in Christianity but the season's sentiment about about peace and goodwill to all. The left abhors anything that unites rather than divides, which is why they crack down on large gatherings like religious services. The left is a dark cloud over everything and politically tints everything they control, especially the media and entertainment, lockdowns are for those things which they cannot control. If Biden and the rest of the Communist (formerly Democrat) party come into power they won't need the pandemic to issue edicts, they will just arbitrarily cancel holidays and observances.

You could bring in the US military and enforce a nationwide quarantine where no person could leave their house for three weeks, any person found outside could be shot on sight. The virus would be wiped out in those three weeks. Just because a particular measure would be effective in battling the virus does not mean that it should be taken.
