Quote me saying women shouldn't have the right to choose. I am pro choice, but I'm also pro for the right choice.

Anyone one thinks 18 and 19 year olds consistently make sane and rational decisions is kidding themselves.
If it wasn't a stunt why would the do a squib kick where they knew there was almost zero chance anything happening afterwards.

Let me tell you guys a story. A while back I played in a no hit/no slap shot hockey league to stay in shape, every player had to wear a helmet with a cage on it. I played defense and there was a time when this guy would park himself in the crease, I would push him and he would fall down. After a few times of doing this the guy poked me in my jewels with his stick so I punched him in the side of his head and down he went. Almost immediately one of their players pounced on me and we were now tangling. It turns out the person who speared me was a girl. Would I have pushed her that hard if I knew she was a girl? Would I have punched her? Would one of their players still have jumped me if it was a guy? The whole game dynamic changes when there is a girl involved in a physical sport.

I didn’t say YOU were against women choosing. I was referring to Republican Party.
You remember how you said this? “That's a hoot coming from people who want total control of everyone.”
You’re pro choice but for the “right choice”? What specifically does that mean? You’re either for people having the right to their choice or not.

People should have the right to choose just as they should have the right to chug a gallon of whiskey. Should a person choose to chug that whiskey I would advise against it.

For what it's worth, Vanderbilt fired their football coach today.

Clearly she had no issue with being knocked down as she kept getting back up and getting in your face. Kudos to her. And clearly she could skate and play just as well as the guys given you had no idea she was a woman.
She was on the ice therefore she knew what she was getting herself into and obviously had no issue with it.
Look, I’m not saying I’m for sports to now be coed. Obviously that can’t happen because in regards to college sports women physically are not as strong as men. No one is debating this. We are built differently especially more so at the college level. Men are animals at that level.
But the Vanderbilt kicker was a special circumstance that has people losing their minds seeming to think this is going to soon be a trend. It won’t. College sports is too competitive and schools need to put the best product they can on the field. If Vanderbilt had a men’s soccer team we wouldn’t even be talking about this.

That’s what happens when you go 0-8 for the season and 27-55 in six seasons.

Being that it was a no hit league, she probably didn't think there would still be some physical play going on. I don't fault her for being out there and I don't fault her teammates for jumping me. But can you see how having a woman out there can change the way people play, think and react? If this woman kicker got knocked on her butt real hard, then I can imagine some of her teammates not taking a liking to it and a brawl ensuing.

The season was lost, but he could have tried to salvage some respect by at least appearing like he was trying to win. A squib kick to start the 3rd quarter is not a good way to project confidence in your team.

Yes, there are some who think they have to acts differently. I coached high school wrestling and since there were no girls teams they were allowed on boys teams. I coached my kids no differently whether it was a boy or girl opponent they had.
No teammate of Fullers could ever have issue with a hard hit on her because that’s part of the game. In your situation it was a no check league which means I’m guessing no fighting was allowed? Therefore you hitting her in the head was a bit of a different circumstance. Hell, even pro hockey players jump in when teammates are getting roughed up.

I think it’s pretty clear he wasn’t a good coach. The horse had left the barn already in regards to salvaging some respect.

It was a no hit league as in people weren't allowed to deliver hard body checks on their opponents, but rough play still occurred, you just didn''t see bodies flying all over the place. The one thing about no hits is that is what most often starts fights, with the hits gone, the fights were less. There were still fights, it's part of the game and people are less inclined to punch someone wearing a metal cage over their face, so that also kept the fights down. Knowing the way I am, had I known the other player was a girl I wouldn't have pushed her so hard as to knock her down and I wouldn't have punched her. There were about 18 teams in that league and she was the only girl in it. If it was a full blown league where rough body contact was allowed she never would have made it. But the kicker in this game is not playing no hit football, she can either take the hits or the guys can ease off on her and that takes away from the game.

I have no issue with mixing men and women in things like bowling, pool (my favorite) and possibly other sports where being physical doesn't matter. Heck, for several years I played on a very competitive co-ed softball team, but the rules were spelled out and we all know who the women were, so there was no hard sliding into 2nd if a gal was covering. Each team had to have 3 women so it was fair all across the board.

The team was short specialists so the coach went to Universities soccer coach for help. Sarah was referred, she agreed to give it a shot.

And for this people are losing their minds making this a bigger deal than it is. It was a special circumstance that led to her playing. But some are acting as if women will now be flooding men’s sports.

How do you know he has never cared about males playing on female sports teams?

Dude. Your debate style requires being called out, since the mods won't address general ass hattery which is now in nearly every post on this forum.

Your posts are full of baiting, trolling, ad homen and strawman fallacies.

Until you can debate without trying to invoke reactions, misrepresent peoples positions, or deflect, everybody should be calling it out.
