Today, every State border was opened except Western Australia and it will soon follow suit. Virtually zero new cases across the Nation, and virtually zero new deaths.

How is Humpty's USA travelling. No need to answer, I know. Just awful.

I have been told (by some here) Aussies are just a bunch of snivelling cowards who do what Government dictates. We are not free, they say. Sure, we tend to comply with Government in matters of this kind. Maybe, you guys should have done the same, but then again, you did have a POTUS telling you it will just magically go away.

    Sew, reap.

Australia has been extremely successful at dealing with Covid. As you say, virtually no new deaths at this point. Every other country, and certainly the USA, should be asking themselves what they can learn from Australia's success.

Yes. We shut down, that worked, and now we are re-opening. The re-build gets under way while the USA is still declining. Well done 'us' but dedicated vigilance is still required. The nasty is still around.

We have had our stumbles yes but when we locked down we locked down HARD and this seems to have minimised not only the Covid outbreaks but the economic impact. I fear America will be paying for thier failed response for years to come

Gee, what's your total population VS ours and people per Sq mile VS ours ?
You sealed your borders, Trump tried and was called "xenophobic" by the same guy who will now blame him for his failure to contain it. SSDD

Density tends to be higher in Australia because most people live in a few big cities. Almost nobody lives in the outback.

(Sorry - I know it was a rhetorical question)

So you think their population density is tantamount to the Dakotas?

    Australia population density 3.2/km
    South Dakota population density 4/km
    North Dakota population density 4/km
    Montana population density 2/km
    Wyoming population density 2/km

    So answer is yes

It's going pretty good. I haven't seen a single man woman or child social distance or wear a mask in over 6 months. Not even a single instance.

I much prefer the hard borders to lock downs and mask mandates.
