She withheld evidence as AG that would have exonerated people and forced inmates to fight wildfires and to help with the campaign while mocking them for it. That's not a reasonable resume, that's someone who should not be in a position of authority.

Yes we know for the Democrats it's what do they look like and can we have "first" rather than who are the best of the best who can be chosen. Why is being a "first" more important than being the "best"?

He served in the office the AG of Indiana for 5 years. He then served 4 years in the House and then 8 years in the Senate. So I would beg to differ.

They keep harping about the Communications team and first first first but I would remind people that Dee Dee Meyers served as press secretary to Clinton and Dana Perino to Bush and Sara Sanders to Trump and then Kayleigh McEnany with LOTS of women serving in deputy positions for years.

"President-elect Joe Biden on Sunday tapped key campaign staff and advisors to lead what he described as his all-woman communications team, but President Donald Trump’s press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, took issue and pointed out the Trump administration had already set that precedent.

And McEnany added that First Lady Melania Trump, Vice-President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence also have all-female communications team."
    https://www.foxnews.com/media/kayleigh-mcenany-trump-staffers-washington-post-biden-all-female

So why is being some kind of "first" so important in choosing who will be in his administration and isn't it sexist to have an ONLY female press staff, a little bigoted?

Yes. The GOP in the Senate aren't going to confirm some of these clowns.

GOOD AND HARD BIDEN: Biden OMB Pick Is The First To Want A National Soda Tax.

Even Bernie Sanders came out against a soda tax.

During his 2016 presidential bid Bernie Sanders slammed Hillary Clinton’s endorsement of a soda tax. Sanders said:

“The mechanism here is fairly regressive. And that is, it will be increasing taxes on low income and working people.”

Sanders went on to note that Clinton’s embrace of a soda tax violated her pledge to the American people not to support any tax increase on Americans making less than $250,000 per year.

“Frankly, I am very surprised that Secretary Clinton would support this regressive tax after pledging not to raise taxes on anyone making less than $250,000. This proposal clearly violates her pledge,” Sanders said.

Needless to stay, this tax would violate Biden’s pledge to not raise a single penny of any tax on any American making less than $400,000 per year.

To borrow from Jim Geraghty’s recurring phrase during the Obama years, all of Illegitimate Joe’s promises come with expiration dates.

That's cute! Did you ever make critical posts about Humpty's appointment of his own (totally unqualified) Family into significant positions of White House power? I think not.

"But Trump" doesn't qualify when the whole argument was "America's back"(LMAO). I tried warning people what "back" really means. Who thinks these self-serving bastards who never have to face a single one of their laws in life, is going to serve the Republic?

Until we finally reject the Plutocracy, wholesale, this is the government we get. This is what "back" is, a government that can't serve anybody but fellow lobbyists.

Is it okay for me to answer or do you prefer to continue to "think not"?

Tis indeed, but when someone presumes to know your answer for you then is that person even interested in conversation?

Civilization? Okay. We're talking about a nation, and there are plenty of qualified people of all races.

A pretty solid opinion. In a nation of 300 million, finding a couple dozen qualified people of any race and sex is a lock.

You seemed to presume for me when you asked me a question and then answered for yourself.

Trump already made history by having a female communication team and the first President to appoint an openly gay man to a position of power.

People are people. They vary in the content of their character. So far, we know that Republicans will not go for Biden's or his administration's policies. That's a political given. What is interesting is how much the Progressives/Socialists are absolutely hating most of Biden's staff selections. You see, people are people. It matters not what skin tone or genitals they possess. Everyone's brain is grey matter and people get judged by what comes from it.

    Not celebrating.
