In California right now, strip clubs are allowed to remain open while churches are closed.

Assuming the OP is true and accurate, isn't that the pastor's point?

    huh?

Democrat voters elected that Governor and obviously support the utter nonsense of closing churches, but not strip clubs

As a Democrat voter yourself, would you be willing to share with us why you vote for politicians such as Newsom?

The strip clubs are mostly are closed, except for 2 places in San Diego who got a 30 day temporary restraining order good until right about now. The judge did require a 15 foot distance between dancer and any patrons.

That temporary restraining order against the state is expected to be canceled at tne next pensung hearing and the lock down will continue for this club.

Are any churches going to accept 15 foot spacing between people?

I don't know about some of these people/churches. You can't throw a chunk of brimstone without hitting a conservative church in our area and the vast majority of them had no problem finding alternate means for their services. I know several that are still doing online services even after they could already be meeting in person just out of an abundance of caution. The only two that I know of who have had bellyached about it are the two wannabe megachurches that pay their ministers well enough to live in tony neighborhoods and keep the buildings mortgaged to the hilt in their never-ending expansions. Easter was the only tough pill for a lot of them to swallow doing online. Some did the drive-in service thing to try to have some sense of in-person fellowship just for that one day.

I'm sure the dancer performed more than 15 feet from the crowd.

My church still offers on line participation in our services for those that don't want to come. For the first couple of months of being open, we alternated services between A-K and L-Z to keep spacing. We had a designated entrance to keep people from crossing paths and did not have Sunday school or individual class meetings to prevent people from coming into close contact. After a couple of months time, we relaxed the rules because this is America and people are going to do what they want to do and there is no sense driving people away when their safety is ultimately an individual responsibility. If you want to wear a mask or attend on Zoom or FB live, that's your option. We still wear masks and you can't find donuts and coffee being sold between services, but we are pretty much back to normal, except some people left or are participating on line for their safety.

Maybe next he can turn the church into a marijuana dispensary to be allowed to remain open.

Is there any factual basis to this claim that black churches would be more likely to be Marijuana Dispensaries then any other races

Other than the likely possibility that this comment is a baseless, gratuitous and racist smears against religious Christian black churches?

For that to be true, wouldn't that have to imply there is something negative about marijuana dispensaries?

Geeze, what another casual, cutesy and racial smear on black religious groups.

Claiming black churches would have a propensity to fraudulently maskerade as marijuana Dispensaries is saying blacks. would be stoners and druggies.

Why not say "Churches would become marijuana dispensaries"? Marijuana use is similar between blacks and whites. But blacks are jailed more often. Why propagate untrue racial stereotypes that smear particular races?
